We were not able to get on a bio bay tour, but went and checked out the area on a Sunday night. There was live music, local food stands and ate at Kasavista restaurant. It was a big change from the restaurants at the El Conquestador. Worth going for an evening.

While we had to go here to begin our Bio Bay Tour thru Kayaking Puerto Rico (highly recommended), the place smelled very badly of sulfur, or something, that was really just indescribable. The park there where the children played had broken glass all over it and the public restrooms had feces on the walls and floor. It's sad that something... More

At first it looked kinda sketchy. But it is lined with great places to eat amazing authentic food (must have the stuffed arepas with seafood and mofongo). It is where the bio tours are taken. Cool view of stringed kyaks and a few vendors selling hand made fares.

I went to Las Croabas in a festive day and it was extremely full, doesn't know if it is always like that. Was hard to find a parking and take us a lot of time. Nice place to go with the family, there are parks for the children to play and great view to take photos or just to see... More
