After hiking around El Yunque for the day, we decided to try to go out to see the bioluminescent bay that evening, since we were in the area. I wrote a long review of Las Tortugas over on their own entry into TripAdvisor, and wanted to quickly add my two cents to all the other people disappointed with Las Tortugas Adventures. All the kayaking tour companies out of San Juan do essentially the same thing and charge the same price. You pay $45 for the kayaking experience itself,... More

We went with the Pure Adventure group - highly recommend. We really enjoyed the kayaking and, while the water doesn't "glow neon", it is a very unique experience. More

I went with Kayaking Puerto Rico to experience the Bio Bay at night. It was amazing and magical. The tide was low enough that even the water in the channel on the way to the bay was glowing so we had plenty of time to experience this amazing phenomenon. The guides were professional, knowledgeable, and fun and they emailed us... More
