My husband & I went on the Falmouth Heritage Walking Tour in July 2015. Our Tour Guide was Carla and she was great! What a spectacular way to see this city. I highly recommend this tour, if you only have a few hours in port or as a way to launch a wonderful extended trip. Carla was very knowledgeable and... More

Dear Patricia D, Many thanks to you and your husband for booking our tour and taking the time to write a review, which will only encourage other visitors to our historic town to consider taking a walk with us. We appreciate the kudos given to our tour guide Carla, or as we say in Jamaica, we appreciate the "big up"... More

Excellent tour of one of jamaicas remaining historical Georgian towns. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Really a tour with a difference here and it was nice to walk round a small town and see how people lived now and then. Especially liked our visit to the Anglican Church and the history of slavery there

Dear Debora L, We thoroughly enjoyed hosting your group, particularly when we were able to introduce you to Jamaica's rich Jewish Heritage via the Falmouth Jewish Cemetery. It is a part of Jamaican history that is not really known and we are always thrilled when our guests are engaged, full of questions, and leave satisfied that they had a meaningful... More

My family of 6 (4 kids, ages 7, 8, 11, 12) stopped at Falmouth on the way to the Luminous Lagoon, and where very happy we did. If we had more time in Jamaica, we would have come back to this. The local history, some great Georgian architecture, and the local market were great to see. I wish I could... More

Dear msurmint, We were quite thrilled to get your review, even though we are a bit tardy in acknowledging it. This is a new tour that we recently started offering designed specifically to accompany the Luminous Lagoon tour. It is a shortened version of our regular 2 hour heritage walking tour, and is really just an introduction to the town's... More

I am a big fan of walking tours and was very pleased to see one offered in the small, historic town of Falmouth, Jamaica. The island is so much more than the usual tourist offerings and this walking tour summed it all up. Remember to bring some bottled water, a hat, sunscreen and very comfortable walking shoes. You will have... More

Dear canadiancraftsman, Thank you so much for your review, helpful hints to fellow travelers and your recommendation. This is why we do what we do even though it is only a small percentage of visitors to our town that are actually fans of walking tours. We feel it is the best way to introduce visitors like yourself, to the history... More

Booked this walk through the ship and thoroughly enjoyed it. While Falmouth is not a bustling city with modern skyscrapers we always enjoy seeing parts of ports that are a little beyond the commercialism that is usually in the immediate area of the dock. This tour provides that. With a well versed guide, LaDonna, accented by her sister Crystal, we... More

Dear Alan S, Many thanks for your 5-Star Review and your very apt description of what other visitors to Falmouth can expect on our tour. We do appreciate the time you took to reflect on your experience and convey how much you enjoyed having Ladonna as your lead guide and Krystal as the backup. They were of course thrilled to... More

Upon arriving at Falmouth, Jamaica on The Independence of The Seas, a Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship, I was struck by the serenity and beauty of this coastal town. As a professor, I always try to visit the libraries where ever I go in this world; of course, as cleric I always go to church! ☺ In Falmouth, I did it... More

This tour was exactly as described. True, it was a walking tour of Falmouth. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Falmouth and Jamaica and told us some interesting facts. The area was very impoverished and there were a lot of stray dogs. The tour started off with the possibility of being interesting but kept on getting crappier and going downhill... More

Dear Viajero581, We are indeed very sorry to hear that our Heritage Walking Tour did not live up to your expectations, and will of course assess the segment of the tour that you were most unhappy with.
