Ive never experienced anything like this; I could spend all night here. On a sunny day (the rain makes it dull and not a good experience ) the water is so bright its amazing. A must do.

Don't miss this excursion while in Jamaica. You won't believe your eyes! It was a great experience. My husband and I were awestruck. We didn't swim but what we saw was a lifetime memory.

Trip was a little short out to the waters. Whole activity was about maybe 30minutes. We had a hard time from our resort finding a company that would take us because it seems first they don't advertise the activity much, so secondly not many people go. For us it was worth all the trouble once we got there. At first... More

I am a sucker for unbelievable natural wonders and this definitely classifies as a natural wonder. You go out in a boat and then are allowed to jump into water with micro-organisms that glow in the dark. It looks like there are diamonds sparkling as you move your arms and legs through the waters. Hint: it works best if you... More

We booked private tour guides to take us to the Luminous Lagoon through Peat Taylor Tours. (Ask for Benjy and Mr. Gray!) Although short, this was one or the most amazing things we have done. When the boat was in the middle of the dark water, we climbed into the water and not only was there a very bright glow... More

It is interesting. You learn something new when you go. The water does shine, but the day I went it had rained right before I got there so it was not shining the way it was "suppose" to.

Take note that we went on a day that it had rained. There was hardly a glow at all. Very disappointed in the money we spent to get bit by mosquitoes. We couldnt even get a glow enough for a picture.

We booked transportation through Yardie tours and paid $25 at the booth. We were promptly placed on a full boat and taken out into the lagoon just as the sun was setting. When the boat stopped, we had to get out into the water in our bathing suits. I was scared because I hate dark water, especially when it's pitch... More

It was a heck of a trip from Montego Bay. When we arrived there were lots people were hanging around - they open the ticket desk just before dark and it's a bundle - no queue it's a Rugby scrum. You go to one of the boats and the brief tour starts. Interesting hearing about the micro-organisms. The captain picks... More

We did this excursion with Michael Curry, a local man with mini bus and boat, who picked us up from the hotel. It was fab - swimming in the lagoon, at night, which lit up as you moved through the water. Michael was a great host and knew lots about the area and lagoon.
