My husband and I didn't want to commit to, too much while on our honeymoon. We tried to find attractions that we really wanted to do and that were affordable. We went to SumFest (awesome, but I'll review that later) and we booked a 'Sunset Cruise with Cocktails to the Luminous Lagoon' through the aquatics center at the Royalton White... More

I was very excited to be able to experience the magical wonders of the Bio luminous Bay. Not only was this educational it was absolutely magical. The mystery of the glistening waters was amazing. I went with a friend who lives in Jamaica and he had never been there before. He was amazed that this body of water truly what... More

What an amazing place! This is one of 4 spots in the whole world where luminous waters exist (the other 3 are in Tanzania, Bahamas and Puerto Rico). The tours start at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 and take about an hour. The fee is $25 per adult and $12 for kids. You take a boat to the middle of this... More

I saw a good number of reviews for Glistening Waters before I booked the excursion at my hotel. In theory it's great but my experience was marred by the group that was on our boat. When you get there you get a free cup of Rum Punch (Very strong may I add, so I wasn't complaining) and depending on how... More

An awesome trip. Always wanted to do this and this time we got the opportunity to do so although we had to drive for an hour from Ocho Rios. The tour was great and our group made it so. Our tour guide was very nice and I am so sorry I cannot remember his name but he was an elderly... More

We got a "deal" for $280 for 4 people. It was a 1.5 hr drive each way and the drive was not smooth! Plenty of hairy moments! You arrive by sunset to the lagoon, hang out a bit until it gets dark. Then they take you out on these boats in parties of 20 or so. The water did glow... More

I decided on this tour after visiting a similar site in Puerto Rico. I wanted my kids to see it, as I recently learned that the one I visited was killed out by pollution. The difference with this location is that you can actually swim in the water and you can only do that by flying to a separate location... More

We ate at the restaurant, the meal was okay (gave us a chance to not eat at the hotel) and we got half price for the boat tour because we ate there. We were there when the moon was 3/4 full and were able to see plenty of luminescence (though I'm sure a new moon night would be even better)!... More

When going out on the boat, we were informed that due to the environment agency, we would not be able to swim in the water due yo contamination. I thought what a rip off - why did they not inform us before getting on to the boat, then we could have asked for our money back. Anyway, when we anchored,... More
