If you talk with the Corses, they will tell you that their island is the most beautiful country in the world, and they are right. Where could you find a desert, beaches of white sand, scuba diving experiences that will let some Caribbean islands pale of jealousy, mountains (where you can ski during winter) culminating at 3000 m above sea... Taking the one hour boat trip is an absolute must. What an extraordinary experience seeing the white cliffs, the grottoes, and the entire landscape. It is also interesting to imagine the area during World War II.

Bonifacio and it's medievil town are best seen from the sea and land.for a multiple perspective of this beautful Italian-influenced French city. Take the small boat at the marina for a cruise off-shore and marvel at the buildings perched high atop a promontory of chalk-white limestone. You'll sail through a low passageway in the cliff that leads into a large... More

Worth paddling with a kayak into the grotto. Try to visit off-season (October) - traffic is manageable then...

Really worth the price (6 of us paid 72€) and the time (approx 80 mins), but be careful with the weather. When it is wind IT is not recommended. We met a very nice sales lady first time and told us that she has to sell the tickets, but honestly she does not recommend it that day due to the... More

All in French but you don't need to understand as most of it is local myth rather than fact. Great to cruise out of the harbour in the middle of Bonifacio's super yachts. Strongly recommended.

Bonifaccio! It's worth the efforts getting here! When you finally find a parkingspot, Bonifaccio embraces you with its charm! The harbour is lined with magnificant boats and nice restaurants and cute shops. You need a good pair of shoes and a fairly good condition to climb your way up to the city on the cliffs. But once you're up there... More

Lots of boats allow you to visit the grotte nearby Bonifacio, along with the calanques. The water has wonderful colours, and there is always a guide on the boat giving interesting/funny informations (in French, actually, but probably there are some English tours as well). The view of the citadel from the sea is wonderful.

One you can get in aith the boat, freaky but magical inside! One with the shape of Napoléon's hat, another with a still water spring inside... all of these in the chalk rocks : gorgious 😊
