First off, this is indeed a quintessential part of your journey to the North! As you travel around you will notice that there seems to be an abundance of places to do sand boarding and 4x4 rides. But among the many other options this place is one of my faves. Here's some insider tips: The published rate is around Php2500... More

We went to Ilocos last Sept. 15 to 18, 2014. We had a great time but the best was on our last tour in Laoag. We tried the Sand Dunes. At first we thought it was expensive but just to have the experience of riding the 4x4 monster jeep, we tried it. All we paid for was worth it. The... More

It was a good choice to switch 4x4 contact coz they were one of the few authorized to pick up tourists in Laoag and take to the sand dunes. Our driver also discussed about the history of the sand dunes, why's it like that. We had unlimited hours, plus our driver taught us sand boarding, became our photographer, and took... More

I was a bit scared because I am accident-prone. But I realized, if I won’t do it, then my Ilocandia Tour won’t be complete. And you know what, I loved every second of it, it was a perfect adrenaline rush, though it was so taxing to climb the hill. Once in a while, I would kneel on the ground to... More

The 4X4 ride was awesome. With a champion driver doing the extreme manouvre makes us hearts pump faster. It was delightful to bring su for a view of the ocean. The wind was refreshing. The Sand Boarding was a beautiful experience.

Even if the weather did not cooperate, we got the best impression of the place. Only in the Philippines we can see up to the horizon the vast sand dune almost same like a desert, only the color made it different. We love it there.

The ride with the tykes are indeed thrilling and more so with the sand surfing. Drivers and those that assist in sand surfing are all friendly and knew what they're doing. The thrill and view makes the experience worth every penny.
