It's amazing how Ilocos Norte has been blessed with so much stuff to do. The sand dunes for me is a MUST try! Situated near the river that leads to the West Philippine Sea (nice on pics), you will have to ride the Sand Dunes to the site where you sand board (which is why unlimited sand boarding is packaged... One of the place that I like in Ilocos is La Paz Sand Dunes. Its a huge sand dunes that will give you a blood rising adventure . We went there last May. And weve tried the 4x4 ride which will tour you to the sand dunes area. Its like a roller coaster ride with the 4×4 jeep ride .Another attraction that... More

Full of excitement when you ride in a 4 x 4 jeep. Sand boarding is also okay and free. Visit that place early in the morning of late in the afternoon because temperature ranges from 38C to 40C during noon time.

Undoubtedly the only really exciting thing to do in sleepy Laoag city is the sand dune experience on a 4 X 4. Navigating the sand dunes here can take one's breath away, if only for the adrenalin rush and roller coaster excitement. The views, especially at sunset, are magnificent. The Paoay dunes are inferior and do not offer the undulation... More

If it is adrenaline rush and adventure that you want while in Ilocos, then La Paz Sand Dunes is the best place for you. Imagine riding a rushing 4x4 going up and down steep slopes of sand! It was so much fun! Just be sure to hold the bars firmly to avoid getting thrown off the speeding vehicle. There were... More

Having the chance to explore Ilocandia last summer was totally a great experience. Aside from the attractions like the windmills, another must-visit, and must try activity is the Paoay Sand Dunes. The vast land of pure sand is just so amaazzzziingg!! I totally feel like I was in Dubai!

This is a pretty wild ride using Beach-buggies to traverse the undulating sand-dunes, but enjoyable, not a good idea to eat prior to going though. There are technical staff around in case of any mechanical probs. that arise. Wear the safety helmets!!

Was a bit weary of signing the accident waiver because I don't know the location of the nearest hospital in case something wrong happens. Fortunately everything went well and we had a great run at the back of a 4x4 at different parts of the Dunes. Going down steep slopes made my wife and children scream like they were on... More
