Although I'm a really experience climber, I booked a tour at Adams. So that I didn't had to look for a climbing mate. The guide was good. He definitely know how to belay. The safety was like European standards. The rock was great, they have a lot of different grades. I think between 5a and 7b (French). Everything is bolted... More

We booked a full days rock climbing for 280,000kip each and it was well worth it. Our instructor was called Tang and was very friendly and a very good teacher. The rock climbing takes place in a corridor in between two huge rocks, each with numerous climbs up them, from easy beginner climbs to some very hard ones. This means... More

I went climbing with Xien (one of Adams guides) yesterday and ha a great time. The routes we went to are a short drive from town and are covered from rain and sun, so it's perfect for any weather. Xien was a friendly, smiley guy and our group was fun. A good mix of graded climbs, from 5a up to... More

We did the full day climbing, and it was just great. To a non experianced eyes they seemed professional and the gear was good. Take the full day, as in the first half day you are just getting the hang of things, and really start the hard climbing in the second half day. It was beautifull and great fun.

We attended a half day tour. Mini tour, just 4 beginners. As we are beginners only, the coach still teached us from basic step to real climbing. We tried four route there and had exciting 4hours. I think I will book at least one day tour for climbing. And we recommend the activity in vang Vieng.

I went for the full day option and I'm really glad I did. In the morning there was a group of four of us, all of whom had climbed a bit before so we go to try out a few route. We all knew how to belay and a few basic techniques so that made the set up easier. I've... More

Loved the half day with Adam's Rock Climbing school; I only had time to do a half day and I have climbed a lot before so was a bit worried that the beginner's half day would be a bit of a waste of time. However, my guide made sure that I got several challenging climbs and allowed me to belay... More

I went with a small group rock climbing for half a day. We actually got Adam as our instructor. He seemed a little quiet at first, but once you get him chatting he's good. He actually explains a lot about climbing and helps you out with directions whilst climbing. His English is great and we really had an awesome but... More

For two beginners, this was a great morning to introduce us to climbing. Adam showed us how to make a double eight knot and how to bilet other climbers. There were only 4 people in our group which was a good number. Adam was very encouraging and gave clear instructions as well as being very friendly. We felt safe at... More

After reading the reviews, I was very excited to try rock climbing. Vang Vieng is supposed to be a great spot to do so. I've been traveling around SE Asia for the last couple of months and try to climb any chance I get. I went to their store to book for the next morning for two people. I left... More
