This was a very nice park to visit. The biggest experience was the Turtel nurcery with grand turtels all around our. The entrence to the park is VERY difficult to find. There are no signs by the big road and the entrence to the park is via a private road with signs of "no entry" through a sucre cane field.... More

We've visited the place, nice birds, tortoises, and of course big crocos... It was raining at that time, so it was the perfect day for this excursion, lovely flowers s well and not too crowdy.

Very seldom do you get a natural reserve with animals in it so well kept and organised . My kids had a blast going through the reserve. Though small , but pretty satisfying for 5-8 yrs olds

Beautiful rain forest like environment with lots of species of crocodiles n tortoises. The restaurant is also nice. Must visit if you have kids. Not very well marketed by tour cos so make sure you ask your tour co specifically for this. The ticket price also includes a 30 min guided tour which is quite informative.

This was a nightmare to find, but eventually with the help of a nice local we located the place. Nicely set out with clear explanations, you can have a guide if you want. Loads of crocs of various sizes, you can walk in with the giant tortoises. The bats were amazing generally impressed with the place. Food available from restaurant... More

The advertising focuses on the population of crocodiles but much more interesting for me were the numerous giant tortoises which visitors can quite literally mingle with in a very nice habitat. That for me was a truly unique experience and should be the focus of the next marketing campaign. There is a also a cafe/restaurant which was very reasonable priced... More

We drove down to the park, and it's a bit of a trek but the park is absolutely worth a visit as their giant tortoise enclosure was a highlight of the holiday. You could walk around with the tortoises and even get a selfie! It was amazing, they were lovely and it was great to see them being cared for... More

We went to La Vanille as a family of 4, with 2 little boys, and we had a blast. Kids and adults alike. We went on a Wednesday and were present for the feeding of the crocodiles, which was interesting and impressive for all 4 of us. The tortoises are simply amazing. The kids could feed them and ride on... More

We visited the nature reserve today and we are so glad that we did. We both learnt some extremely interesting stuff relating to the reptiles that they had there. The highlight to the time that we sent there was with the Giant Tortoises. Each has their own character, but what they all like is a nice stroke under the neck.... More
