It was worth going to this park though nor included in the regular tours i.e. North/South Trips and Ile Aux Cerfs. There were huge crocodiles and also breeding ponds, Bats, but the best was the huge Tortises which was unbelievable. There were more tortises than stone bolders around. You just go crazy and can even sit on them and take... More

Rainforest walks with some interesting animals and plants on view. Lots of crocodiles but in very old-fashioned pens. Difficult to take photos due to the chain wire fencing. The highlight for us was being able to wander through a field with (100) giant tortoises and even sit on one. And the mating ritual was a sight to behold!

For our kids the best thing was to ride the giant turtles, though I had to awaken them a bit by offering fresh leaves (otherwise they would be just sleeping around). Crocodilles and other animals also quite nice, but lots of mosquitoes down the forest, do not forget your OFF :-)

this was a good day out walk around the safari style zoo seeing crocodiles from eggs to fully grown adults and a close encounter with giant tortoises which was extremely interesting especially as it was mating season and amused everybody with the really loud grunts of the males, highly recommend this to do when in maratius

I'm not a lover of zoos of any kind and some to the zoo wasn't up to scratch but this place was just fantastic. How could miss the opportunity to get up close and personal with giant tortoises.. and I mean up close .. you can stroke them, feed them, and oddly it was mating season when I visited and... More

This was almost the most waitied program by us, but at the end we were a little bit disappointed. The guided tour took approximately 25 mins, like OK, I will tell you what you have to know and then come back. That is why for example we didnt take pics of liguana which was issued. And then we went back,... More

Do come here. This is an awesome up-close and personal encounter with giant tortoises - much better than we could ever have imagined. We thought this would be just for kids - but i was mesmerized - the pen of tortoises has hundreds of mature animals wandering around - you can feed them, stroke their necks and even sit on... More

I came here for the first time as a young teenager, so well over 20 years ago. And apart from the excitement of seeing crocodiles for the first time it was otherwise boring. I was pleasantly surprised with all changes to make this place more interesting. We arrived just in time for the guided tour which of course means you... More

Instead of visiting malls and shopping centres within the city which we get to see everywhere, visiting this place is worth your time. Around 1-2 hours can easily spent watching crocodiles, giant tortoises and insect museum. The giant tortoises are the main attraction of this place. There is also a small nature walk but the mosquitoes make the walk quiet... More

This is well worth the visit. We were greeted.by a baby deer just chilling at the entrance she was just roaming about so friendly and pretty. The cost to get in was very good not like Casela world of adventure which is just a massive tourist trap and really expensive. We did the guided tour which we were the only... More
