Just got back from 9 days in Southern Utah (staying up at Zion Ponderosa). We (me, my wife, and 7 yo son) decided to rent bikes for a ride down from The Temple of Sinawava, and we wanted to start early to beat the 100 degree heat as well as the crowds. Zion Outfitter had two HUGE bonuses over the... More

We were in Zion for 3 days of fabulous hiking in early June. We wanted to float down the Virgin along Springdale one afternoon after strenuous morning climbing in the Canyon. We checked in with Jim at Zion Outfitters and he was helpful, friendly and honest. He advised us that the water level on the Virgin was very low and... More

We booked our rental gear prior to coming to zion so we could have them deliver to our lodge (Cable Mountain Lodge) prior to our arrival. Unfortunately due to high water the previous day, they did not deliver the product. Luckily the narrows were open that day so we were able to hike. We started late though because we had... More

We took a camping trip with our rec center once again and this tubing down the virgin river activity came highly reccommended from one of our friends. being adventerous we decided to try it out....It basically is putting an inner tube in the virgin river and floating ( anything but just floating) approximately 2 hours down river to the other... Hiking the Narrows was the highlight of our recent Zion trip -- don't pass up the chance! There are a couple places that I know of to rent drysuits & water shoes. Zion Outfitter is incredibly convenient - just a very short walk across the footbridge from the Visitor Center and shuttle stop. Just rent your gear, walk to the... More

We went for the Narrows hike day after Thanksgiving and rented our dry pants package with Zion Outfitter. They are located right next to the park entrance so is very convenient. The staff was helpful in helping us pick the right gear. My only complain was the dry suit's openning was too small for my head so we used dry... More

Zion Outfitter is right next to Cable Mountain Lodge, and steps away from the foot bridge to the Visitor Center, at Zion NP. I stayed at the Lodge the first week of October 2013. A week before I arrived, I had decided to book a last minute solo guided hike up the Narrows with Zion Outfitter. James was extremely helpful,... More

Service: Rented Narrows gear for our family of five. Staff was very patient and helpful in finding the right size shoes for our kids, and answered all of our questions. Price: comparable to the other outfitter in town. We even received a small discount for staying in the Cable Mountain Lodge. Location: outstanding, as it's literally right next to the... More

We rented a bike ($15) and trailer for the toddler ($10) for 2 hours. Easy and not too expensive alternative to hiking that the toddler loved. Service was friendly and helpful, and the location made it painless.
