Great outfitter

We rented gear for hiking into The Narrows. The gear was high quality and fit well. The staff was friendly and very helpful to ensure we had a great hike.

The service at Zion Outfitter was excellent and Dennis and Kailey were so helpful getting us all set up to hike the Narrows. They were knowledgeable about Zion Park too, giving us ideas on what to take, and where to go on this hike. We were equipped with shoes, socks, dry proof pants and a pole making our experience in... Came here to use the showers until I found out they are trying to rip tourist off by charging $5 per shower.... are you kidding me? I suppose I shouldn't be surprised seen as they are actually renting sticks... yes STICKS to hike in the narrows.. come on people a pair of old sneakers will do and there are plenty... More

We stayed at the Watchman Campground. There are no shower facilities at the Watchman or South campground and when doing our research beforehand, we learned that Zion Outfitter is the only place in Springdale with public, pay showers. I guess when you're a monopoly, you don't need to care too much about the service you provide. The showers were $5.00... More

We rented the warm water Narrows Package. It included shoes, neoprene socks and a hiking stick. It was a bit costly, but I'd recommend renting these if doing the Narrows hike, which was awesome!

This was in no way a waste of money for us. The special canyoning shoes and neoprene socks are designed so that the water runs over your feet whilst you walk through the river, rather than get soaked into your shoes. We saw so many people who had taken off their regular running shoes that they attempted to do the... More

Recommendet if you want to do Narrows. Get sticks, shoes and neoprene socks, easy rent on the way to the bus, next to park shuttle stop. Very friendly Service.

We visited the Zion Outfitter, just outside the entrance to Zion National Park in July. They were "renting" walking sticks and their sales person highly recommended that we rent one to assist us while hiking in the park. Well, this was a waste of money! And after that I really felt stupid "renting a stick"...really....I found sticks along the trails... More

We went here when another company didn't have the equipment they promised. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave good advice. We rented the Adidas shoes, neoprene socks, hiking sticks, and a waterproof backpack. All were absolute necessities for hiking the top down Narrows. I wasn't sure I wanted a stick since I have hiked many steams without one.... More

The water shoes and walking stick were exactly what a hiker needs to complete "The Narrows" trail. Many begin the hike, but only the properly equipped finish it. What a great day. The staff was helpful and easy-going, too. This business is an asset to the Springdale and Zion communities. I will definitely go there again.
