My friend Gary and I stopped into Zion Outfitters to learn more about some canyoneering objectives that we were considering. Jim at Zion Outfitters was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He helped us select some water boots for canyoneering, and spent a good deal of time informing us about the local canyoneering routes. Thanks, Jim! We will definitely be back!

Could not have asked for anything better. It was informative, exciting, adventurous, beautiful, amazing, to give but a few adjectives to describe our adventure. Would recommend this tour to anyone.

The staff was most helpful. We suited up for the hike up the narrows. It was a short walk to the Park and the shuttle bus. The waterproof bib overalls kept us dry and were definitely worth it. The boots were comfortable and the walking stick was needed.

Can't say how delighted we were to have along the excellent guides we hired through Zion Outfitters. Jim and James were absolutely fabulous. Taking a group of women well over 50, they were kind and helpful. Very peaceful guys; it felt like they love what they do. They stayed back with those who needed it, and forged ahead with those... The ride up Zion Canyon is not to be missed, with the long downhill ride back a sheer delight. My rented bike got a flat tire 2/3 of the way up the canyon. I took the shuttle back to Z.O. The employee offered a bike exchange, but the remaining 3-speed bikes all had flats as well. He told me that... More

With the change of seasons and the cooler weather arriving, hiking the narrows is still quite pleasant with the waterproof full bib from Zion Outfitters. The full bib in addition to the boots and walking stick enable us to quickly and comfortably navigate up the canyon and back while others were stumbling around and shivering in the cool waters. It was short money — under $100 for the four of us — to rent boots, socks and walking poles. But it was WORTH EVERY PENNY. With this gear we could sure-footedly go as far up the Narrows as we wished, explore some slot canyons, climb rocks, etc with nary a fall or a blister (and we saw some nasty... More

We rented out hiking water boots and sticks from the company and glad we did that. It gave as confidence and comfort when hiking Narrows. It costs us about $98 for family of 4 and that was the purchase we didn't regret at all. They also give you a more detailed map of Narrows with some instructions and recommendations. The... More
