Caleb and his operation were engaging, professional, highly knowledgeable about the terrain and history and, above all, fun to spend a day with. I would highly recommend letting them make your vacation truly memorable.

Our family of five went canyoneering; first time ever. Our guide, Al, was encouraging and focused on safety while ensuring everyone had a great experience. We would definitely go again & recommend them to anyone thinking of trying canyoneering!

As I was doing research on the different guide services available for a fun intro into canyoneering I found some great information and was almost ready to book with another place until I read about ZMS on trip advisor. I thought that having your own guide would be much more expensive than the group option but that just wasn't the... More

We are in Springdale during the government shutdown and were looking for something to do since the park was off limits. Wandering into ZMS we met a friendly guy who lets us know all of our options and explained that their tours were private, educational and "outcome driven" meaning that they weren't watching the clock on the trip but instead... We were there last week during the monsoon week! We selected this company because of the reviews here but mainly because they don't add other people to your party so it was like a private adventure for my husband and me. Dan was our guide and he was fantastic. When I was afraid, he talked me off the ledge...so to... More

My husband and I recently visited Springdale for the second time. The first time, we were unable to canyoneer due inclement weather. This time we made it a point to at least attempt a trip, regardless of what the weather would be like. We researched different guides and outfitters in the area but ultimately settled on Zion Mountain School due... More

This is the place to go if you are trying to do some canyoneering for the first time. I am scared of heights, and yet, with Ethan as our guide, he got me to go over an "awkward start" rappel, and down the 75ft...great coaching and encouraging words, with lots of dedicated knowledge. I went on to hike the Subway,... More

I knew canyoneering would be fun, but I didn't know how much. I appreciated the personal attention and private trips this company offers. It truly allowed our guide to tailor the trip to our skills and experience. Since we completed the rappelling segment with time to spare, we had a chance to explore the canyon. Rock scrambling down the creek... More
