I have to start with had I known what I was signing up for when I called and inquired innocently about family canyoneering, and was told that the group would only be my family and the guide and that people as young as 4 and as old as 80 do this, I never would have signed us up for this. My... More

What a fun afternoon! Our guide Matt did a great job making all of us feel comfortable and safe for our first time canyoneering! My husband and I and 2 kids (12 and 10 yrs old) rappelled five or six canyons. Matt did a great job of getting this claustrophobic mom through a few tight places!

The narrows hike was by far the best. WEAR A SWIMSUIT. Also, don't miss the Northgate Peaks hike. The trees literally smell like vanilla and butterscotch.

My husband and I scheduled a canyoneering tour for our Southern Utah Harley, hiking adventure. My husband loves his Harley and I love hiking. In order to combine two of our loves, we decided to hit the five national parks in southern Utah while riding the Harley for a week. When I discovered canyoneering online, I thought it was a... More

These are some the best and most experienced guides there are in the area. We went on the canyoneering adventure to Short Canyon, UT and found the experience to be altogether great and most of all safe. Jake, our tour guide, was able to guide us out of the canyon safely despite there being a huge flash flood being present.... More

My father in law (65) and I (30) had a great experience with our guide Jack. The trip was filled with so many extras that I doubt we would have received from other guide services. We met another major guide service in the canyon. Jack was clearly more knowledgeable. He also setup better rappel routes than the other service. He... More

We had two experiences with ZRMG, first was a Full Day Canyoneering trip and second was getting outfitted to day-hike the Zion Narrows. Canyoneering: Our guide, Jack, was friendly, safe, and knowledgeable and led us on two canyon descents, Yankee Doodle Canyon and Lambs Knoll Canyon. We had an absolute blast! There are multiple companies in Springdale that offer guided... More

Awesome hiking and views. There weren't that many people around this time (March), so my group and I felt like we had the mountains to ourselves 95% of the time. Will definitely come back.

I'm posting this since I'm not getting any answer from Zion Rock & Mountain Guides on the matter. We booked a tour on September 17th (for an October 11th activity) we only got confirmation on October 4th. The shutdown being in effect we asked if the activity was still going through and never got any answer. We also contacted theme... More

This was the highlight of my trip to the canyons of Utah! The guide was professional, friendly, and extremely patient! This was my first time and I was nervous, but I was in good hands. You can work out and customize the kind of experience you want. We went to Yankee Canyon, which was an intermediate canyon (as opposed to... More
