My girlfriend and I had a few days in Zion and decided to book a full day of canyoneering with ZRMG. We met Jack Towt bright and early at 7am. He spent the first few minutes sizing us up and asking a few questions. I had read some reviews about Water Canyon and was hoping he'd be okay taking us... More

We recently had a full-day trip with Jack Towt from Zion Rock & Mountain Guides. I honestly didn't know what to expect, as I hadn't done a ton of research. A friend had done that for us, and our first two days in Zion were spent doing hikes within the National Park, including the Narrows and Angel's Landing. Our third... More

We booked a "shuttle" ride with them. We showed up early for our 6:30 am pick up. When they didn't show up, we called them and found out they had lost our reservation and credit card information. They hung up on us and told us they would call us back multiple times. I proceeded to call back about 14 times... More

We had a great day. There were 7 of us..me, my husband, our three boys aged 15, 13, and 9, my 72 year old dad and my 17 year old nephew. We started our day with a 108 foot rapell...actually about 10 foot of rapell and 92 feet of free fall. It was awesome! My 9 year old got a... More

I am in my 50's and wasn't sure I could do the canyoneering half day. It was just me and my husband with Jack as our guide. (Awesome guide! He has an easy-going attitude and lets you make your own calls. He's patient and explains things well and simplifies directions.) I was so assured of Jack's skills, that I volunteered... More

My family: my husband and I and our two teenage boys went on an incredible all day journey with our guide, Sunny. We hiked to the top of Water Canyon and rappelled down. Some of us were more excited about this opportunity than others. The views were amazing and the challenge was great. We all enjoyed our experience, had a... More

These guy know what they are doing and will get you there and back. How is that for brief? OK, a little more beef. They take safety seriously, which is a little important when teaching repelling and climbing. Their equipment, as far as I could tell, is in good working order. The guy who took us (I don't remember his... More

I have done the Zion Narrows Top to Bottom twice and I got my gear here both times. They have a large selection of water gear - shoes, boots, dry suits, wooden poles, and waterproof bags. I never had a problem with any of my gear and always left the experience thinking I got a lot for my money.

My 19 year old son and I had an amazing trip with Andy in Water Canyon. We met at 6:00, handed in the required forms and Andy asked us about our prior experience. We had NONE! We are active hikers and mentioned we wanted pushed to to our limit. We travelled for about 45 minutes to the canyon, unloaded the... More

Very informative about the park and realistic about which hikes require specialized equipment. We plan on renting river shoes and socks from them when we visit the park next year before trying the Narrows again!
