First trip to Zion and The Narrows, we had no idea what we REALLY needed. DEAN took great care of us, gave us a fair price, less than all the others we had called, and showed up ON TIME at the flagpole. We hiked in the fall, so we weren't sure how cold the water would be. We rented wetsuits... More

We loved Zion Rock & Mountain Guides. We used them for a full day of canyoneering and also for a sunset jeep tour. Jack was our guide for both. He was incredibly knowledgeable about canyoneering and also about the area. We felt safe throughout both. The canyoneering experience was one of the best parts of our trip - neither of... More

Let me start by saying that my husband and I are very fit and have climbing experience, but we were not familiar with Zion National Park. If you are confining your activities to things inside the Park, understand that there is no technical guiding allowed inside the Park, i.e., everything inside the Park doesn't really need a guide to accomplish.... We found Matt at Zion RMG. We expected a great trip and he made it even better. We enjoyed Matt and formed a great friendship. We will definitely return and spend time with Matt.

We contacted ZRMG well before our mid-September trip to Zion to hike The Narrows. "Contracted" with them for their shuttle to the Narrows (top-to-bottom) trailhead. Per their instructions, got to 'the flagpole' at the Zion National Park visitors center at 5:55 on Friday morning for the 6:00 AM ZRMG shuttle. More than one party of folks waiting. After forty minutes... More

I went with 25 people from Las Vegas on this canyoneering experience. What a great time. The guides took us about 30 minutes from Zion National Park to Hilldale where we hiked and rappelled, climbed thru some slot canyons and played (and fell) in the water. The guides were really knowlegeable and fun people. Very patient with some of the... More

My wife and I recently took a week long vacation(without our kids) to Southern Utah. Every day was booked with different adventures, hikes, horseback riding, etc. Among our On- the-Go fun, we booked a half day canyoneering trip with Zion Rock and Mountain Guides. Our guide was Matt. He took us to the North side of Zion National park, to... More

Did a Jeep sunset tour on 7/28 with my family of 4. Our driver/guide Devon was entertaining and knew his stuff. Drove us off road for more than 4 hours running around west/northwest Zion. Private tour as the jeep could only hold at most 4 people. Stopped and pretty much did whatever blew our hair back. Unfortunately, mother nature was... More

I have to start with had I known what I was signing up for when I called and inquired innocently about family canyoneering, and was told that the group would only be my family and the guide and that people as young as 4 and as old as 80 do this, I never would have signed us up for this. My... More

What a fun afternoon! Our guide Matt did a great job making all of us feel comfortable and safe for our first time canyoneering! My husband and I and 2 kids (12 and 10 yrs old) rappelled five or six canyons. Matt did a great job of getting this claustrophobic mom through a few tight places!
