I went to Mariposa Grove because seeing the Giant Sequoia's was on my wish list so I with my mom and dad who. My dad is in his 80's and has really bad knees, my mom had stage 4 + breast cancer. The Sequoia's were really beautiful and they are sometimes so big you miss the perspective. But we got... More

I loved learning about these big wonderful trees. Take the tram tour, we learned alot and they will stop twice for you to take pictures and get closer to the trees.

Sequoias are great! I do not like dusty trails in Mariposa Grove

Limited parking makes this a pain! Parking at the South entrance and at the overflow lot was closed so we had to park a mile down the road, walk back and take a shuttle to get to the Grove. A pain in the neck, but the trail and the giant trees on the trail made it worth while.

Get there early as it fills up and do the tour, unless you really are in for quite a hike!

I was very interested in seeing the giant sequoias but the grove is a bit disappointing at least in the early part. There were few trees and most of them young. The two large star trees were really great but it would be great to see more of them. The information provided is great and educational for children and it... More

The Sequoia grove in Yosemite is pretty amazing. It's not as big as the Sequoia National Park, but it's easy to get to if you are in Yosemite already. This area is not dog friendly.

Being able to walk among Giants and the clear water running along the path. Offer to take a picter of a couple who have a camera. Visit the small gift shop. I picked up a screen saver for my computer. It is so nice to see. Also a calendar that has the best pictures you could have and save. Be... More

We were lucky to meet a ranger walking program. A 1.5 hrs walking with ranger provided us lots of information of sequoina and the ways it's protected. Our kids loved it.
