There is a motor tour via open topped shuttle that was good for my 80 year old mother to see all the trees. They stop several times and let passengers out to see the trees. The rest of us walked up to the upper grove, which is definitely worth the effort. The upper grove has very green and verdant undergrowth... More

We spent the $ 25.00 to take the open air shuttle up to the museum area. It was too far for us to walk. It was worth ever penny. We spent hours walking around enjoying the magnificent trees. Then we took the shuttle back down to one of the stops about a mile from the parking lot. We walked back... More

Well for starters it's very historic and there is much to read about this grove. If you have not seen a sequoia grove before, it's amazing to see these trees. We had just come from Sequoia National Park, so it was on par with that. More

We were told the road was closed because of heavy snow. We almost gave up trying to visit even though this was supposed to be the highlight of our visit. We were told not to bother walking unless we had the right gear. We were not prepared for snow and only had trainers and not a lot of warm clothing... More

If you have trouble with the paths stick to the road, it is a gentle slope and you see everything. More

With snow, this is the most beautifull place in the word. If you caam early in the morning, you will visit the giants trees alone. It´s a unexplicable experience. But prepare yourself to walk about 5 or 6 miles in the snow. Worths a lot!!! More

This is located south and outside of the park. They have a tour tram and is the best way to see the grove. More

Awesome ancient trees. Deer as friendly as dogs. The hike is uphill, so prepare for the hike. Or you can take a shuttle. More
