Even if you are not staying at the Ahwahnee, it is worth a visit to see the outstanding public rooms that it has. You can ride the free valley shuttle bus to it or drive and park at it. You should see the great lounge (which has fireplaces that are so large that most people can walk into them). and... More

This wonderful hotel is an old classic that has been maintained well. The exterior and interior are beautiful. The view from the window of our room was... More

We made reservations for lunch just to see the building. The interior and exterior were well worth the visit as well as the views from the Hotel. Finally we were able to see deer feeding in front of the hotel. The whole family enjoyed this stop. More

I was really impressed. The waiter that served us had served Queen Elizabeth. Not only was he a wonderful server but he had a wonderful sense of humor. The teenagers loved him. The food was great and they accommodated one of the girls with a special dish for her. What a grand place to eat. Views of the mountains were... More
