We read great reviews about this little-known trail and were eager to give it a try. The roads to the trail are really not marked at all and our GPS did not even list this trail. This grove is off the beaten path but for us was worth the trek. It is about 30 mins off from hwy 41 along a narrow winding road. There are signs to guide you but some were broken and we used our GPS to help us find it. The last bit of road is a dirt road and not every... More

Many beautiful and majestic giant sequoias that are not well known to the general public. A most enjoyable walking trail, cleared each year by volunteer Camp Fire Groups

We went there today with our 4 young children...They loved it apart from the many mosquitos. It is beautiful.. A very dense and isolated forest area with lots of different kind of plants and trees.
