After reading all the great reviews of Yellowstone Wolf Tracker (aka Wild Side, LLC), I didn't hesitate to book a day with them during our late August trip to Yellowstone. Our group of four consisted of my parents in their mid 70's and two of us in our mid to late 40's. Since my parents have a few mobility issues,... More

An awesome experience! Our guide, Quinn, was so knowledgeable about all sorts of wildlife and terrain. Without his guidance and scopes, we would not have seen many wolves, coyotes, Pronghorn sheep, mountain goats, Bald Eagles, Sand Hill cranes. Bison and Elk were everywhere, and fun to see, but no guide needed for those. We shared the rather pricey cost with... More

This guy is a master at coordinating a three generation Yellowstone trip! This past August our family, including grandchildren ages 14,11, and 9, spent two fabulous days learning about Yellowstone with MacNeil. He turned the geology of Yellowstone into a science lab,on a walk we "discovered" a Bison carcass, and all of this plus plenty of fun and a great... More

This was one of the highlights of our two-week trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Teton in July. I had booked it back in the UK because I wanted to make sure we saw some of the area's signature wildlife. The boss Nathan Varley was helpful and communicative via email and I was happy that we had picked the right... More

This was a truly amazing and memorable wolf watching group tour! The guides were fabulous and so generous with their extensive knowledge of Yellowstone, the food was great, the schedule was intensive and fruitful, the group was perfect. The guides showed up every morning in the adventure bus with smiles on their faces and were on the ball in getting... More

Excellent guide named MacNeil. Very knowledgeable and pleasant. Asked what our expectations were and exceeded these. Saw a grizzly and two wolves. Would not have seen these without his expertise. Gave a lot of important background information so we learned a lot. First class spotting scopes and even snacks. Also saw black bears, osprey and of course bison and antelopes.... More

We were fortunate to have Quinn as our guide. He was able to find us a view of a wolf pack with some cubs. My daughter has been into wolves for years and this was her opportunity to see them live - and it was the highlight of her trip! Once the wolves were out of view we were able... More

I've made two trips with Nathan Varley and Linda Thompson. Both in connection with Defenders of Wildlife. In both cases the trip was extraordinary. Other than the cougars, we saw about every creature in Yellowstone: Lots of wolves, deer, moose, grizzly and black bear, mountain goats impossibly climbing a sheer wall, even saw an eagle and a nesting peregrine falcon.... My husband, daughter, and I had a 2 day wildlife / wolf viewing excursion in Yellowstone last week. Emil, with Wolf Tracker, was our guide for those 2 days. What an awesome experience it was ! Emil was so friendly and very knowledgeable with the many different species in Yellowstone, and other places throughout the world. He took the time... More
