My husband and I are professional photographers and wanted to see Yellowstone in the winter. So I reserved Yellowstone Wolf Tracker (aka Wild Side) for a private photography tour. So happy that we did! MacNeil Lyons was our guide. He is EXTREMELY knowledgable and wonderful at finding animals that we wouldn't have found on our own. We only had him... More

On a recent trip (Jan 9-14, 2015) with guides Nathan Varley and MacNeil Lyons, we saw wolves every day, and lots of other wildlife as well. Nathan/MacNeil knew where to look, they each have a long history in YNP, each is soft-spoken, and they don't take political positions (at least not with their guests) on a number of wildlife controversies... Wolf watching has been on my bucket list for years. This year was the year I finally decided to travel to Yellowstone to make my dreams come true. I found Yellowstone Wolf Tracker through a google search and read all of the good reviews. My husband and I were picked up on the first day by MacNeil Lyons a guide... More

We signed up for the Autumn Wolf Watching tour and it was one of the best trips we've had to date. Nathan and Linda are awesome guides/hosts, they are kind, genuine, humble, and go above and beyond to make sure the guests have the best experience. We got to see and appreciate wildlife in Yellowstone, fell in love with the... More

My wife and I have made many daytrips in great parks all over the world. This day was the best ever, mainly because of the nice way our excellent guide, Emil, from Yellow Wolf Trackers shared his incredible knowledge about nature with us. At 6.00 h Emil picked us up from our hotel in Mammoth Hot Springs. An impressive male... More

After reading all the great reviews of Yellowstone Wolf Tracker (aka Wild Side, LLC), I didn't hesitate to book a day with them during our late August trip to Yellowstone. Our group of four consisted of my parents in their mid 70's and two of us in our mid to late 40's. Since my parents have a few mobility issues,... More

An awesome experience! Our guide, Quinn, was so knowledgeable about all sorts of wildlife and terrain. Without his guidance and scopes, we would not have seen many wolves, coyotes, Pronghorn sheep, mountain goats, Bald Eagles, Sand Hill cranes. Bison and Elk were everywhere, and fun to see, but no guide needed for those. We shared the rather pricey cost with... More

This guy is a master at coordinating a three generation Yellowstone trip! This past August our family, including grandchildren ages 14,11, and 9, spent two fabulous days learning about Yellowstone with MacNeil. He turned the geology of Yellowstone into a science lab,on a walk we "discovered" a Bison carcass, and all of this plus plenty of fun and a great... More

This was one of the highlights of our two-week trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Teton in July. I had booked it back in the UK because I wanted to make sure we saw some of the area's signature wildlife. The boss Nathan Varley was helpful and communicative via email and I was happy that we had picked the right... More

This was a truly amazing and memorable wolf watching group tour! The guides were fabulous and so generous with their extensive knowledge of Yellowstone, the food was great, the schedule was intensive and fruitful, the group was perfect. The guides showed up every morning in the adventure bus with smiles on their faces and were on the ball in getting... More
