Description: Enjoy the beauty of Sea Kayaking in Yellowstone by getting off the beaten...
Enjoy the beauty of Sea Kayaking in Yellowstone by getting off the beaten path, on a single or multi-day backcountry sea kayak tour. For over 20 years we have been showing our guests the absolute best way to experience the natural wonders of Yellowstone National Park by kayaking away from the crowds on Yellowstone Lake or Lewis and Shoshone Lakes. Established in 1872, Yellowstone National Park is America’s first national park, and one of the best inland paddling destinations in the world. The clear water and high mountain lakes of the greater Yellowstone area provide a truly unique kayaking experience. Yellowstone is home to a large variety of wildlife including grizzly bears, wolves, bison, and elk. Preserved within Yellowstone is the largest concentration of active geysers in the world – approximately half of the world’s total.Paddling away from the crowds you will see a side of Yellowstone few ever do.

Wow...Just Wow

My sister and myself (both 50+) and 2 kids (11 & 14) had a great day kayaking. We were concerned about the length of the trip, 5 hours, but had no trouble finishing. The pace... read more

I have mixed feelings about this tour. Let me start by saying I thought the guides were friendly and knowledgeable, and the weather made for a great day. This was a wonderful way to see Lake Yellowstone and some of the unique geyser activity from a different view. We thoroughly enjoyed the others that were on the tour with us... More

We completely enjoyed the day trip we took with Alex and Robbie as our guides - they made sure the entire experience was interesting, fun and memorable for our whole family. Watching the geysers explode and flow into the lake and then feel the water change temperature is an experience you just can't get from the observation decks!

Great way to experience Lake Yellowstone. Guides were very friendly and entertaining. Great way to view West Thumb Geyser Basin. Water can be bit chilly so be prepared.

everything about the day trip we did was terrific. the two guides for the day (both originally new englanders whose names i forget) were outstanding in many ways. they were skilled watermen, genuinely friendly, very knowledgeable about the area, safety-conscious, and just plain great hosts. in addition, the equipment was a cut above the usual kayak rental stuff, the paddling... We wanted adventure, beauty, and experience on our trip with Jason as our guide. We got it all and then some. Our kayak skills increased dramatically with Jason as a great coach as we learned to paddle confidently and safely on any kind of water. The beauty of experiencing gorgeous sunsets on glassy water, the steamy geysers in the geyser... More

We had a fantastic night on Yellowstone Lake. Our wonderful guides Ben and Robbie got us set up in our equipment and before we set out, Ben gave us a little geology lesson about the lake, the park and the thermal features. We kayaked along the edge of the lake and along the thermal features that are on the edge... More

Perfect day. Alex and Jason are tops! Our guides are a wonderful source of info and gave everyone plenty of room to explore. I would recommend to anyone. BTW, for those who have experienced "food" within Yellowstone park...the lunch provided on the tour, is far superior.

We had such a fun time on the day trip. We did two double kayaks. It was great learning how to paddle in a very relaxed environment. The guides were great and really well informed. You get to get really close to the run off of the hot springs and feel how warm it really is. Such a fun interactive... More
