Description: Enjoy the beauty of Sea Kayaking in Yellowstone by getting off the beaten...
Enjoy the beauty of Sea Kayaking in Yellowstone by getting off the beaten path, on a single or multi-day backcountry sea kayak tour. For over 20 years we have been showing our guests the absolute best way to experience the natural wonders of Yellowstone National Park by kayaking away from the crowds on Yellowstone Lake or Lewis and Shoshone Lakes. Established in 1872, Yellowstone National Park is America’s first national park, and one of the best inland paddling destinations in the world. The clear water and high mountain lakes of the greater Yellowstone area provide a truly unique kayaking experience. Yellowstone is home to a large variety of wildlife including grizzly bears, wolves, bison, and elk. Preserved within Yellowstone is the largest concentration of active geysers in the world – approximately half of the world’s total.Paddling away from the crowds you will see a side of Yellowstone few ever do.

Good internet page, easy booking! We booked the day trip. Our guide Ben did a great job, telling us all the interesting facts about the geology and the geothermal features. We were lucky to see a geyser erupting twice wich was a great view from the water. We had a good lunch at a lonely pretty beach. Geyser Kayak was... More

Our guide for the trip, Greg, did a wonderful job of making the trip a great one. His instructions were very good and he had a lot of facts about all the places we went to. It wasn't an overly exhausting trip either. The provided lunches were quite good and very filling. If you want to see Yellowstone from a... More

Great kayak tour of Yellowstone Lake and surrounding geysers with a relaxed atmosphere. We were out on the water for over five hours and a break for lunch in between on a small beach. Our guide, Ben, was incredibly knowledgable about the lake, geysers, and park. He spent time chatting with each of us and answering questions. The coolest part... More

We were fortunate to be the only two to kayak that day, so we got very personal service from our guide, Greg. Neither of us was an experienced kayaker, but we had excellent instruction and advice before and during the tour. Greg gave us a lot information about the ecology and history of the park, which I appreciated. If you... More

We loved our Kayak excursion with our guide Greg! He knew a lot about the area, helped our boys (6 and 10) with their Kayak skills, and generally provided a delightful day for our trip. If you are reasonably fit, this is THE BEST way to see the West Thumb area, away from the masses of tourists in the boardwalk... More

We had a wonderful day on lake yellowstone kayaking, a nice diversion from all the driving and hiking in the park. Our family of four, including 2 teenaged girls thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We had a nice small group of six plus our guide for the day in double sea kayaks. Our guide, Ben, was well informed and shared so much... More

I scheduled the day trip for my husband and myself for a unique experience while we were visiting Yellowstone. This trip did not disappoint. We were lucky that we were the only 2 people scheduled for the tour that day so it was just us and the amazing guide. We saw Yellowstone from an amazing vantage point. We also got... More
