If you love wolves and/or wildlife, enjoy learning, are ok with being outdoors in rustic living quarters, and meeting fascinating new people- then this is the place for you! I went here on a soul-searching trip of my own and b/c I am an avid wolf lover and advocate. Breathtaking...awe-inspiring...words do not do justice to experiencing wolves where they are... More

I took the Wolves of Yellowstone and Bears of Yellowstone seminars in May 2014. I observed wildlife and areas of the park with a new appreciation. The instructors are excellent and extremely knowledgable. All of this took place in the beautiful Lamar Valley at the Lamar Buffalo Ranch. It was a fantastic experience.

My husband and I have visited Yellowstone many times but never in the winter. We spent four nights over President's Day weekend and the highlight of our visit was a private wildlife watching tour. Our wonderful guide Brad met us at Mammoth Lodge at 7:00am. Brad was a fountain of knowledge and his passion and enthusiasm for Yellowstone and its... More

We saw wolves, moose, big horn sheep, golden eagle, bison and elk. On our first stop, which was to practice setting up and using the spotting scopes, our fabulous guide, Shauna, said, "Hmm, I hear a wolf." Within a minute, she located a wolf pack and then did we see wolves - howling, playing, running, sitting and pooping! Shauna would... More

We stopped at the Yellowstone Association in Gardiner, Mt. to get some information about Gardiner and lower Montana. There was one lady in there who answered all our questions and gave us so much information about the area and got us all jazzed for another visit to Yellowstone since we were leaving in a couple of days and there was... It was the last week before Yellowstone National Park closed for the winter but we were fortunately still able to book one of the last private tours with the non-profit Yellowstone Association; Natural History and Geology of Yellowstone Lake and Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. We met our guide Josh just after 8am at Norris and made our way to... More

Shauna of the Yellowstone Association was at our motel before 6 and ready for a great day. We went wolf hunting in her Toyota van and found a pack, though too far away for photography, but clearly seen with her scopes. We then went mountain goat hunting finding three sets on the side of a mountain. Her spotting ability was... More

We booked a private family tour to visit some of the geysers and other attractions in the park. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, flexible as to our schedule, and very accommodating of our interests. We ranged in age from 5 to 72 years and everyone enjoyed themselves and learned a lot. Highly recommended.

This was a great trip for our family (ages 10 to 55). The best part about a private tour was that it was catered exactly to the needs and abilities of our group. David, our guide was awesome and very patient with our group. He was very knowledgable about the flora, fauna and geothermal structures. We learned more about thermal... More
