Pace yourselves! There are many to choose from! Probably best to circle the one's of greatest interest before heading out, because once you begin driving, they'll be coming at you literally from the left and right sides of the road.

This wine trail is well signed and the leaflets that you can pick up anywhere are informative. We visited three of the wineries they were all very welcoming. They have various events through the year it was wine and herbs during our visit.

If you are a veteran or a novice, this trail has much to offer. Inexpensive wines and several shops which cater to wine enjoyment.

Excellent trail. Great variety of wineries. Favorites are Knapp, Swedish Hill, Gooosewatch & Long Point. A must stop is the Knapp restaurant. Chef John is an incredible. His menu appeals to all tastes.Don't miss his soups!

We did our fist event on Cayuga this past weekend. Bacon on the Lakin. I have to say that it was a pleasant change from our experiences on Seneca. (Not that Seneca is bad at all). It was just nice to hit some different wineries from what we are so familiar with on Seneca. There are some really good wineries... More

there are so many wineries and so little time... So book a room and stay a weekend. My all time faves are #1- Thirsty Owl! , not only is the winery beautiful but the girls there are so sweet to chat with ! They are funny and really enjoy their jobs! Not to mention the wines are absolutely outstanding especially... More

I omit weekend as too many imbibe without a designated driver. The wine trail concept needs to be changed to mandate designated drivers.

We spent an entire day from Skaneateles to Ithaca. Stopped just about at every winery along the way. Each one offered a unique experience. Wonderful wines, interesting gift shoppes, some had incredible views. We had a great time at every stop. The folks at each winery were very friendly and pleasant.

I recently went to visit some of the Vineyards along Cayuga Lake with my daughter and friends. I would suggest starting at 10am at the farthest vineyard then making your way back towards Ithaca (if that's where you're coming from) as well as hiring a driver if you don't have a designated driver! There are about 16 Vineyards and you... More

It was a short drive down from Seneca Falls to locate some of the wineries on the wine trail. The first was a small family owned place which was unique compared to the others we visited which were larger and somewhat commercial. I like that you can do a wine tasting for only $3! I don't like that since I... More
