First stop : Montezuma Winery Cor US Rt 20 & rt 89 Seneca Falls, NY. We have been going here for several years as it is in a day trip for us. They have an excellent selection of wines at reasonable prices. We do some of our Christmas shopping here and the people we've given their wine to have started... More

This is always a must go to event every year for us, a sure sign of spring, the weather this year notwithstanding! There are now 17 wineries to visit which are members of the Cayuga wine trail, each one gives you an herb or vegetable plant with a food pairing to try made out of that herb or vegetable along... We went Valentines Day weekend and went on tasting Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Here is a rundown: Varick(Formerly Cobblestone): We loved it. SO many oil, sauces dips and food to taste. They do food pairings with the wine tasting. Not to be missed! Americana Wineries: We had V-day dinner here and regular dinner here too. Loved lamb burger. Great wine... More

We recently stopped at 2 wineries along the trail. We found them both very unique and delightful. We had wood fired pizza at Cayuga Ridge Estate Winery and it was very good - overlooking the lake and the vineyards. Cobblestone Winery was great too because they offered sauces, dips and tasting oils with their wine samples. A truly wonderful area... More

We travelled from home (NYC) by car and we enjoyed the trip and watching the foilage starting to show its colors. We arrived on the eastern shore and visited two wineries which were just great. It does not matter which two, they are all great. They have a varied selection of wines and we enjoyed the time tasting. We always... More

We took a beautiful vacation along Cayuga Lake. We found a cottage using Homeaway.com. It was small and right on the water so it was perfect. We didn't do the entire cayuga wine trail but there were at least 10 wineries within a ten minute drive from our cottage. So we definitely went to those particular wineries. We loved it.... More
