We tried quite a few of the wineries in the area and definitely liked Three Brothers the best. There are actually 4 areas to see on the grounds. Bob, in the Stoney Lonesome tasting room, was outstanding in letting us not only sample some of the wines but actually challenged some of our ideas about what we liked. The Bagg... More

Once of the smaller but second largest lakes for wineries. Worth checking out because it has some fabulous wineries along with cheese places and breweries. If you go all the way down I hear there are some beautiful water falls as well. We will be back in September. Finger Lakes is my favorite region.

Thank you for the great review! You're right, the southern end of Cayuga Lake has Taughannock Falls, a 215-foot waterfall! More

How can you go wrong when there are 30+ wineries within range in an afternoon? You literally pulled out of one and within a city block distance could pull into another. It was great! Almost all offered tastings throughout the day until 6 or 7pm and had very knowledgeable Sommeliers. In addition, many had beautiful views from their outdoor patios!

Beautiful lake views and fine tasting wine, what could be better, oh yes one place had live music. We took a picnic lunch and sat at a winery overlooking the lake. The trail is very scenic, down Route 89 toward Ithaca.

We spend a weekend exploring local wineries around Cayuga and Seneca Lakes and loved every minute of it. Since we are not local we were more "taste hopping" to find the "best of the best" and bring it home. On the first day we did 7 wineries and on the second 9. To be honest I don't recommend doing it... More

Vistas are very gentle and nice, wine is good, drive is not long. Very pleasant way to spend a summer day. Don't forget to visit roadside stalls and dairies for some very good cheese, fruits and vegetables to go with your wine.

A very good are to visit. Trail is a real nice ride. Plenty of Wineries to visit. Stopped at 8 or 9 wineries. Real good selection of wines. Also, purchased various salsa, salad dressing, etc. Real good selection of ice wines. Just a great place to visit.

We went to several local vineyards for wine tasting. Most were very reasonable for a sample of 6-8 wines. We bought several bottles and went to the patio to enjoy the music and the views. Lots of fun trying different types of wine.
