We came here and I did my first wine tasting ever! We tried 5 wines of our choice and liked them all. We bought some special honey vodka and souvenirs as well. Nice little stop. I opted for no fee in my description but only because you don't pay to walk in, only to purchase or taste.

I did not have high expectations for this place, but I was pleased with some of their products. Did not care for some (some just way to sweet for me), but found others to be interesting, especially the Tej. Had to buy a bottle of that to take home.

Very informative winery and cute gift shop. Knowledgeable staff and very welcoming with great wines to taste. Nice addition of a souvenir wine glass. Great way to start our day.

I've always liked this winery because every time I stop in, there's something new to try. They do lean more to the sweet wine drinkers but I always find something I like. This time it was an earthy/sweet honey wine called Tej. It may be a far cry from what you would get in a traditional Ethiopian restaurant or home... More

All the people in here were very pleasant. The wine was great! A huge variety of different wines and a few meads. The also had a distillery which we did not try. Their store had a variety of items to purchase. They even had homemade fudge and cheese.

We visited a handful of wineries during our stay in Skaneateles. This was our favorite. Unpretentious, good wine and spirits, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. We walked away with a mixed case of wine and spirits. The honey-based mead and liquor were very good, as was the corn-based "white lightning". Highly recommend if you can only stop at 1 winery.

The winery, first off, is very nice. It is on the main drag, too. While we are not so much into wine tasting..we wanted to try it. Their sweet wines are, in deed, good. They also had spirits. We purchased some sweet blush wine. But, even if you come with family that don't want to do the wine tasting, the... More

I had never been to a winery before my trip to Seneca Falls, and I thought Montezuma was a great place. I'm certainly not very knowledgeable when it comes to wines, but the staff there was really helpful. They weren't terribly busy so we got some extra attention, and some back ground on the wines they served/sold. If you're interested... More

We tend to prefer dry reds, so going here was something a little different for us. We really enjoyed the wines, and bought 3 different bottles, including two sweet wines. The sweet wines were their speciality and you can see why. The drier wines were pleasant, but in my opinion unremarkable. Their sweet wines, however, were really lovely. I chose... More
