Jammin Java is a bar and live music venue in downtown Vienna, Va. It is located in a small strip mall with plenty of free parking and easy vehicle access. The venue has a bar area and a small VIP seating area (20 seats) and a standing only general admission area that can hold approximately 150 people on a single... More

It had been a while between visits to Jammin Java (one of the Metro DC areas top 4 venues). The new lobby bar makes it 1000% more comfortable for the early arrivals who want first is to grab great seats. I was there to see an internationally acclaimed artist - Pierre Bensusan - and was able to take advantage of... More

Jammin Java is a great venue to enjoy live music. By day it is a coffee and sandwich shop but by night the back room turns into a listening room that seats about 200 people highlighting musicians from all over the country. We recently went to see Ellis Paul and it was a great experience. The food is slightly above... More

Love this venue. The staff is always very nice. We have a great time every time we go- about 8 to 10 times a year.

This place is not as it appears. I went to a show there that was shut down. If you like alternate calm music its for you but I'm not a sleep at the wheel. I thought the whole place needed a facelift as warehouse chick is not for me but may be good for you

I loved that the doors open at 7 pm and there's music all night! There's seating if you want it, or you can get close to the stage. The bartenders are very nice, and the band members hang out with the audience after their sets.

I have been to a handful of shows at Jammin Java, and while it isn't my dream venue, it gives nothing to complain about. The atmosphere is plain and simple, providing a personal small atmosphere in which the crowd can really interact with the musicians. The staff is also friendly and generally helpful. Overall, the venue adds nothing to the... More

Visited Jammin Java for dinner and a performance by troubadour Darrell Scott (and opener Grace Pettis). My conclusion based on this experience: Go to Jammin Java for the music, not for dinner. As a music venue, the place is great -- an intimate atmosphere and decent acoustics. But at least on the night I visited, Jammin Java wasn’t really set... More

This is primarily a review about Jammin Java as a music venue. The service staff are all friendly and the bartenders are quick. The location is easy to find but depending on other business traffic in the shopping mall, parking may be a bit of a challenge. The entry area is relatively small with a few tables and stools at... I truly admire Jammin Java for its use of its space. At night it's a small concert venue or nightclub, some mornings it's toddlerland, and in the afternoons you see clusters of people getting together, and parents waiting for their kids who are having music lessons. But now that my kids are in school in the mornings I find I... More
