This is my favorite place to see a show in the Washington, DC metro area. You can picnic on the lawn, outside food and drink are allowed. Great music under the stars is a perfect way to spend a summer evening.

You can see a number of first-rate entertainment at Wolf Trap and can experience a performance while sitting in the fresh air of Virginia. Many bring a picnic and sit on the lawn while they enjoy a performance.

I went to Wolf Trap for my first concert this year and I can't wait for Spring 2013... It is a great venue, beautiful and next time instead of sitting near the stage I'll have a pick nick.

The Summer concert series is well know. Bring a picnic basket and your own wine. Dine before the concert and enjoy the best value in the area for entertainmnet. The Barns operates late Fall through Spring. Great option for folk, jazz and more ecclectic tastes. Decent wine bar available. Performers often stay after to sign CDs and mingle with the... More

We love to go to Wolf Trap for musical performances of bands we know and appreciate. We have been going since we moved to the area in the 90's. We like to picnic in the parking lot and then go to our seats in the pavillion. Its a great venue for seeing muical acts. We love the place!

Summer concerts at the Wolf Trap are kind of the essential DC area experience. Bring a picnic, with your own wine, and relax on the grass singing along with your thousand or so closest friends.

Been to shows at many different venues over the years, and this is one of my favorites. Great chill scene .... buy a pavilion seat if you want to get an up close view of the show or a lawn ticket if you just want to lounge for the whole show, but either way, go early, bring a blanket, your... This is a beautiful place with many natural areas to enjoy before settling in for the main attraction of the evening. Picnic spots are available for those who like to bring their own food, but there are also food vendors for those who prefer to buy on site. One note about the restaurant- it's a good idea to make a... More

the acoustic set-up is pretty good, i will give them that. but the seating is ridiculous. i don't think i'm fat, but i still barely fit into the seat. not to mention the legroom. sitting there became so much of a burden and literally painful, it actually spoiled the great performance of "il divo" that night. the food and beverage... We have been attending for a decade and love it there. We prefer to go early, eat on the lawn, and then sit inside under cover and easy on the back.
