Where do I start! This place was amazing. I dragged my husband on a Virginia getaway all because I'm a HUGE Josh Groban fan and the thought of hearing him in an open air arena was too good for me to pass up. So I bought our tickets and we planned a mini getaway ending with the concert @wolf trap.... More

If you are retired, 30 minutes prior to the show, you can get discounted tickets, if you just don't have time, you can get your tickets at the box office...Wolf Trap is in my opinion "the most relaxing venue located in the woods", easy access to park, a beautiful walk to the concert. Gipsy Kings is coming on 4 September... More

Have visited multiple times and all were outstanding. Something for everyone, from Gipsy Kings to New Orleans blues with BB King to classical. Good site lines, excellent acoustics and comfortable seats. Devoted visitors from all over the country and the world. Visit and enjoy!

Just enjoyed the Yanni concert. We were thoroughly impressed with the facility, grounds, amphitheater and staff. The staff (many are volunteers) were friendly and most helpful. We parked in an adjacent parking lot and were pleased to be offered shuttle service to the entrance upon arrival but not when the concert was over. The food prices seemed reasonable with a... More

We visited Wolf Trap July 31, 2014 for concert and were extremely pleased with the event. We were lucky enough purchase tickets in the seated section and were amazed with acoustics of the venue. It was amazing night that we'll always remember. event: RodrigoYGabriela.

This facility is beautiful and sounds amazing. I really applaud the National Park service on this venue. If you like who is playing, you should go. Tips: 1. Get over there early. I read tips about this and thought I had planned enough time. Wrong. Traffic backs up on the Dulles tollway and the road narrows quickly on the NPS... More

Disliked: Difficult to get out of car park Liked: Great venue and atmosphere. Food is priced reasonably but did not sell tea! We are from UK! Make sure you bring adequate rainwear if you sit outside.

Even though I now live a over an hour from Wolf Trap, I try to come at least once a season for a concert here. Sometimes we want to dance in the aisles to long time faves (John Prine or the Gipsy Kings), sometimes enjoy the classical with the National Symphony Orchestra, or sometimes discover someone new -- last night... Went to see Heart last night and it was a real mess getting into the parking areas (with plenty of cones narrowing the lanes but no traffic control at all) and then walking to the venue. I wanted to see this band because I had listened to them since they became popular in 1975. They started right on time and... More
