One of our favorite getaways in the city. I love the quietness despite being in the "city". Gated and safe too. We have a travel trailer and love the full hookups. We were able to bring our kayaks and launch at the lake by our camper. It was great. Their store is really nice for a treat and they have... More

We stayed in the campground for several nights this past summer. For a park less then 10 miles from downtown Cincinnati it is exceptional. The electric only sites are beautiful and large. The full hookup sites are standard sites lined up and paved, but we recommend using the electric only loop, nice lakeside sites, wooded, and plenty of room. The... More

I have been riding at Winton Woods for 5 years and I love it there. I have ridden most of the horses there and I have been on all of the trails. All of the horses I have ridden have been awesome. The trails were also awesome. I am in the introduction to canter class (riding lesson level) and that... More

It's quite big park and I wasn't so impressed as there are very less trees and lot of open space. The trial also was very deserted and going endless. kind of scary.

Winton Woods campground is a great little weekend getaway when you don't have the time to actually get away! There are a lot of things to do without having to leave the city to do them! Hiking trails, a paved walking path, splash zone for the kiddos, playgrounds, a lake for fishing and for people-powered boating. The other side of... More

We have now participated in Spooky (halloween) camping for 2 years now. Once in our motor home and once in the deluxe cabins. Even though the weather was not so good both years we had a great time. The park makes your weekend so much fun with puppet shows, clowns, campsite decorating contests and of course trick or treating. It... More

Over the years our family has held family reunions here. Nice open area for the kids and play areas to keep them occupied as well.

We camped at Winton Woods Campground for one night on our way to Tennessee. This would have been a great destination in itself and wished we could have stayed another night. I was very pleased with the campground. It was very beautiful there with the lake. This campground had everything you needed, including wifi. We were at site #69 and... More

While not what we were looking for in terms of trails and hiking, Winton Woods is a very nice park. There are nice paved trails, areas to fish, canoe and kayak rentals, and opportunities to take instruction for kayaking. The park is divided by the main road. One side of the park is really great for children with a playground,... More

Winton Woods has a little bit of everything. For those with young kids it has parky's farm to pet animals, ride pony's, a great playground and also an indoor playground. It also has lots of hiking if you want to do that and in the summer a splash yard for younger kids as well. The splash yard is pretty entertaining... More
