Traveling at the holidays I always expect to see a Poinsettia display, and sure enough. I guess, from what I had heard, I was expecting more. The displays were very nice and well done, and for the typical visitor it is a great place to visit. If you are a botany geek like I am, It's an interesting visit but... More

Once again, the great folks at the Krohn Conservatory have prepared an exceptional Christmas display, including a life size nativity scene with live animals (celebrating its 75th year), model trains among creative models of Cincinnati landmarks, gorgeous holiday flowers and plants, and even some simple crafts for the kids to make. We enjoy it every year. Well done!

I went on a Sunday with my 8 year old daughter and had a blast. The train exhibit is really cool with prominent Cincinnati buildings and land marks made out of all natural materials. They had a Dickens exhibit in the room with the cacti (which was new from last year). I was also excited to see they had put... More

The Good: intimate environment, interesting exhibits, reasonable price The Bad: it's not stunning, a bit small This is an older location with strong local support. They have rotating exhibits. It's fun for kids

The tropical environment at the Krohn"s conservatory makes a nice escape from the winter doldrums. Always a beautiful visit with their seasonal displays and a bargain activity at $7 per adult. Spend time getting back to nature here.

We'd seen Krohn's famous butterfly exhibits in the past but this time the exhibit was Christmas-themed Cincinnati landmarks created totally out of natural materials - reminded me of the Rose Parade Floats! It takes no imagination to recognize the famous Cincy buildings and bridges and the use of living materials to create even bricks and stones was remarkable. Wonderful holiday... More

Krohn is a Thanksgiving/Christmas must for family visitors to Cincinnati. Short, unique, memorable, $7 per person visit. We cornered a staffer who gladly shared display history and changes with us. Everyone loved the trains and the beautiful creations in model form of Cincinnati landmarks. Easy free parking, close to the Eden Park overlook for best view of Ohio River, children... More

I visit the Krohn several times per year with my family. I am always impressed with the detail and care they take to always make such beautiful displays, especially at Christmas. My kids love to visit this time of year and it is definitely a tradition we will maintain for years to come!

This is a great place to put one in the holiday mood in December. The Christmas display is fantastic with all the plants and a small train running through the display. There are miniature recreations of a lot of famous attractions in Cincinnati. The orchid and cactus sections are very well done.

Warm in the winter, warm in the summer, the Krohn Conservatory offers a wide variety of plants to view, along with other shows, such as a butterfly exhibit. You can also rent it for weddings! They now charge an admission fee, which is the only drawback for seeing a piece of history! Now to figure out how to build a... More
