Even when the staff was busy changing exhibits, they went out of the way to make you feel welcome. It is a peaceful way to spend an hour as we walked the paths and interacted with all the amazing plants and trees. Keep up the great work!

This is a plant lover's spot. There is an orchid and desert section including bonsai plants, a seasonal show room, a walk through a waterfall, and a rain forest room. Of special note is the seasonal display especially at Easter. There is also a spring butterfly exhibit that is really fun to take the kids to. Plants here are gorgeous... More

The Krohn Conservatory is definitely one of the gems of Cincinnati. My favorite times to visit are during the Buttterfly Exhibit and at Christmas when the conservatory is decked out for the holidays. Other exhibits occur as well during the year and each one is special as well as educational. Even when there is nothing "special" happening, the atmosphere is... More

Beautifully seasonal displays. Check out website for current activities. Christmas is a family tradition to see train display with poinsettias and Cincinnati landmarks created out of natural materials. Outside is a live animal nativity scene. In spring the outside grounds are covered with flowers & flowering magnolia trees. Great views of the city and river within short walks of the... More

We spent about an hour exploring the conservatory. There was a wedding going on while we were there, so we didn't quite get the full experience because we were trying to stay out of peoples' way. However, I did enjoy it. The featured display was the Falling Water Gardens, which I was really excited about but ended up being the... More

Anytime of year the plant conservatory offers a pleasant stroll through plant collections grouped for their native growing regions. From the arid to rainforest there is a rich variety of plants. The butterfly room and outdoor art and garden ornaments keep people visiting this delightful spot year after year.

Doesn't matter if you like plants or not, just go. It is such an amazing place to visit and spend the time looking at all the diverse plants and species they have packed into this place. They always have events going on also so make sure to check out their site. Now...if you are a plant lover, bring your drool... More

The family went when the Christmas displays were up. They were great. There was an area set up for the kids to do crafts. Very nice place.

Only at Krohn can you experience monarch butterflies sitting on your shoulder. With the decline of butterflies, this is one of the best ways to still enjoy one of mother nature's gifts. Visiting after schools are out for the summer might make it a bit less crowded.
