When I was in high school, Over-The-Rhine was a place I only heard about on the news - the murder capital of Cincinnati. When my sister sent me a link to the Queen City Underground Tours website, I was apprehensive when I saw the address. But Over-The-Rhine is not the same area it was when I was a kid. There... More

We did see one underground vault from an old brewery. That's it. One small section underground. The worst part was trying to sell us a condo in a building being renovated in OTR, 3-4-5 stories up. The opposite of "underground".

It essentially becomes a tour about the history of the breweries that filled Cincinnati. Fun for adults and young adults.

The weather was cold and rainy, which really dampened things. However the sights on the tour were just not that interesting. Run down buildings that were difficult to appreciate although our guide was a great storyteller. Only one section was underground, and you need to be of regular weight. and physical ability to manage down the 2x4 steep stairway. Overall,... More

We took the haunted tour and it was ok. The weather may have put a damper on it as it was at least drizzling throughout the tour. The tour guides themselves were entertaining and new their history of the queen city, but the stories of haunted building left a little to be desired. Would do the history tour only next... More

We took our 13 and 11 year-olds on this tour, and all four of us really enjoyed it. This is a phenomenal way to reconnect with the city, or to be introduced to it for the first time. Like a couple other reviewers I think this coul be even better with a slightly faster pace, and perhaps one more stop,... More

We've lived in Cincinnati for 6 years, but we still have things to learn about the city! This walking tour was fun, educational, spooky, and super cool. Over-the-Rhine has had a very bad reputation over the years, but the city is doing amazing things cleaning up this neighborhood. I highly recommend doing this walking tour - not only will you... Went on the Cincinnati Underground Tour, which is a walking tour of the historic Cincinnati neighborhood called Over-the-Rhine. The names dates back to when the Miami and Erie Canal (now Central Parkway) divided this German neighborhood from the main city. The neighborhood is currently going through a revival. The tour makes stops in front of several historic buildings with storied... More

Groupon offered a 1/2 price deal and we decided to take a tour of our home town and did we love it! Takes 2+ hours and you are on your feet the entire time, so you have to wear comfortable shoes and be able to climb steps. Goes underground to learn about the history of the Over the Rhine district,... More

Tour was interesting. Our guide was fantastic. Very enthusiastic and animated. Although called an underground tour, a majority of the tour is conducted above ground. Not sure it was worth $20, but very interesting!
