May 3 evening was topped off with the singing foursome at their graduation and 10years later at a wedding of Missy and Mr. lee. singing was super and that is all there needs to be said. great voices and super attention to the audience. cannot wait for next year's lineup. Cindy Lou (the pretty one), Missy (Mrs.Lee), Betty Jean (the... More

Fantastic productions. Everyone in Cincinnati should see their plays. The two performers were outstanding.

We discovered this professional theater in down town Cincinnati quite by accident on a recent trip. It is a beautiful small theater with only 191 seats. The atmosphere is warm and intimate. We attended opening night of "Black Pearl Sings". This play runs until March 31st and I would highly recommend it. The story, the music and the cast of... More

We usually look for their sales before purchasing tickets. We love it. Next to Normal was even better than the Broadway show and the Broadway tour, so they have an excellent cast. It's a very intimate venue where there is no bad seat in the house.

This is a top notch regional theatre in an exciting urban setting. GREAT "new" plays and beautifully produced, this is a MUST see for any theatre lover and for those who want to see something very special on their trip to Cincinnati.

This is a great place to see whay I would consider off Broadway shows. I'm not a real lover of stage BUT let me say this place is hands down better than the Aronoff. It's a smaller theater and you are able to see the actors from the back row unlike the large theaters. The stage performances are remarkably well... More

Sometimes smaller is better. Cincinnati has several good theater companies. Of these the Ensemble Theater is the best. Fifteen years ago, my wife and I, lacking any other Saturday night activity, decided to attend their then current production. We have been subscribers since. The theater is small and that is part of its charm. It feels friendly. The location on... More

Always good productions here; make sure you sit close though; far away seats are at a slant and I don't like the angle.

Twenty-five years ago the Ensemble Theater opened in a gutted bank building in the Over-the-Rhine (OTR) section of Vine Street near downtown Cincinnati. The managing director, D. Lynn Meyers, from the very begining had a vision for live theater in that rough neighborhood. Today it is a brilliant gem in a revitalized, restored, area. All kinds of seasonal live theater,... Very nice theatre in Cincinnati. Had very good seats up close, but there didn't seem to be any bad seats. It's a medium-sized theatre with refreshments (wine available) in the lobby and a very enthusiastic staff. It's walking distance to Cafe Lavomatic, a great palce for dinner.
