Nice statute, even nicer park

Nice statute, even nicer park. The statute itself probably isn't worth the trip on its own, but the beautiful surrounding park is lovely.

So many people seem to view Cincinnatus as a welcome friend they are seeing. I especially like when he is dressed up for different occasions.

I don't think the statue itself is worth a special trip, but the surrounding park (Sawyer Point and Yeatman's Cove) are lovely if you're looking to take a walk. If you cross the Purple People Bridge, it takes you right into Newport on the Levy which has a movie theatre, a little shopping, the aquarium, and plenty of restaurants.

Saw this statue on our walking tour. Nice. Interesting to see if you are already in the vicinity but I don't think I'd make a special trip to see it.

The statue of Cincinnatus is impressive! He just adds that much more to Sawyer Point! Ok, the 100 characters rule is aggravating. I won't do this survey again.
