The stain glass windows are breathtaking! You would just have to see them to believe how gorgeous they truly are. When we walked in, we were greeted by a very nice lady with a smile and told to look around as long as we wanted. A stop here is well worth the visit.
If you are visiting Cincinnati just cross over one of the bridges and visit this beauty of a church. This cathedral is absolutely wonderful. Architecture and the stained glass in this church is worth the visit alone. Pipe organ and music by the choirs are not to be missed on Sundays.
The architecture, art, stained glass and wood carvings in this basilica are absolutely worth seeing. We were shocked that it is only about one century old, as it rivals the European churches that are many, many centuries older. Easy, free parking, with free self-guided tour.
I can't start to explain how beautiful this is!! You must take the time to go see it. It is open where you can just go in and spend as much time as you desire. It is confusing to find because there are so many one way streets. But do not give up, it is worth it!
So many beautiful things to see. Make sure you go inside and then check out the gargoyles on the corners of the roof!
I don't know about services or anything but we brought my mother-in-law here when she visited and she loved it. It really is quite a sight to see whether you're Catholic or not.
grew up in the area and my cousin got married here this church is one of a kind very very beautiful you just gotta see...
Beautiful and sacred place of worship. It's said to resemble Notre Dame in Paris I didn't quite see the connection but it is a piece of art on its own.
I had the honor of meeting the Arch Bishop when my brother was ordained. As cathedrals go it is good. But nothing like Rome.
