This is one of the most beautiful cathedrals in the Midwest. Except for the fact that it is considerably smaller, i would compare it's beauty to that of saint pats in NYC.

I've been to many hundreds of years old castles, palaces and cathedrals on Europe, and yet the Basilica was very reminiscent of those places and traditional and beautiful. We try to go there for Christmas and Easter. Take the tour, stay for Mass.

Awsome! On the scale of Cathedrals in Europe. Self-guided tours available and well worth the time to see some of the greatest and largest Stained Glass work in North America.

This cathedral is beautiful and huge. It is 180 feet in length and 81 feet in height. The stained glass windows are gorgeous. The north transept window is 67 feet by 24 feet and is one of the largest stained glass windows in the world. There are two rose windows measuring 26 feet in diameter. It is awesome and a... More

Certainly worth seeing, compares favorably with some of the cathedrals in Europe IMHO. The stained glass is magnificent. I'd say visit if you are in the area and have some time to see stuff

Beautiful church, can't miss when visiting here. They also give tours. A very special place. Stained glass and wood work is incredible. Modeled after the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.

The exterior is in the beautiful gothic style. The streets around the cathedral are paved with red brick making the church stand out even more. The interior has gorgeous wall-to-wall stained glass windows and large mosaic Station of the Cross scenes.

Beautiful works by Frank Duvenack in the style of the old masters and lovely stained glass can be found here. Well worth a visit for art lovers.

Took about 90 minutes out of the day to visit this beautiful church and very glad I did! Located in Covington, this is a great place to view artworks - stain glass windows galore (82 of them!), intricate Italian mosaic scenes, paintings (some Duvenek), an unbelievable organ (I believe there are two) - simply beauty throughout every inch of this...
