I don't know why people said this zoo was in a bad / ghetto area, it was fine. They had lots of cool animals that could be seen closely (great pictures). No more walking than any other zoo if you plan and follow the map. Go in the morning before it gets hot while the animals are moving around. more

This is an excellent and clean zoo! There are so many animals! Our family spent 6 hours there! Take advantage of being able to bring in your own water ($2.99 a bottle there). A pizza was $18!!! Take a picnic lunch and enjoy! more
