Went with family to the Cincinnati Art Museum to see the special exhibition "High Style" on the last weekend it was on show. This was a most interesting exhibition tracing the works of fashion designers of the 20th century through 1980. After that we visited selected regions of the museum. I loved the main hall off the lobby that had... More

I went to see the Chihuly chandelier. I'm glad for the free admission because after walking around the whole collection I would have been just fine seeing the Chihuly and calling it a day. The chandelier is right away in the lobby. My husband said the history of Cincinnati was interesting because he reads displays whereas I am a person... More

We visited late on a Sunday morning. Parking is $4.00 but admission is free. It has a very nice collection but unusually organized. if you want to see a specific style or period of works it takes a fair amount of effort. Ever present staff are very helpful offering advice throughout the museum. It is well worth the time is... More

Beautiful museum with well lit family friendly galleries. The museum is free, but parking is $4. If you are on a budget, you can park in the lot by the bus shelter and just take the short walk up to the front door. Great way to spend a rainy day! If your up for a hike, take the Elsinore Place... Love the museum. It is good for all ages. It has traveling shows all the time. There is special day when kids can come and join in an event. You may want to checkout the Web site. Very historical building. Beautiful to see. Marble floors and steps. Local artists too. Cincinnati history included.

We have made a permanent appointment on our calendar for the last Friday of the month. Art After Dark at the Art Museum is fun, eclectic, vibrant and mind expanding. Every time we go, we see different Art in different rooms. I then retrace some of my favorite steps and return to a few art pieces that I have fallen... More

Although the exhibits are wonderful, I did not feel a link going from room to room. I enjoyed the fashion show tremendously and would go again, perhaps with a museum guide.

As a lover of all types of art, I would recommend the museum to anybody. It's free and pretty close to downtown, and something that all ages can enjoy.

This is a compact museum, but it is one that is worth visiting. There is free entry (though parking costs a bit) and the museum has an impressive collection of art, as well as a beautiful setting. One of the highlights of a trip to Cincinatti.
