The Cincinnati Art Museum is delightful. This July,I spent two fine days enjoying its splendid art collection. I especially enjoyed its collection of Spanish Primitive Works(Master of San Baudello,Jorge Ingles),Dutch Master paintings(Frans Hals,Aert Vander Neer)Italian Baroque paintings(Strozzi,Preti,Mei,Van Wittel)and French paintings(Corot,Renoir,Monet,Pissarro). The museum is a hidden gem and should be a destination for anyone visiting the city. We could have enjoyed several days taking in the exhibits. Make sure to enjoy a meal at the inhouse restaurant - Terrace Cafe. Excellent food choice and service at very reasonable prices. more

We went to the art museum as a way to kill time before we checked into our hotel. We couldn't tear ourselves away!!! The displays are well labeled and sensibly grouped.
