Close to downtown hotels and definitely worth the effort. The Museum is just one of the outstanding arts opportunities Cincinnati offers. If new to Cincinnati and want some history make sure you visit the Cincinnati Wing and don't overlook lunch in the Café and weather permitting dine outside.

The museum was excellent. The displays were very professionally presented. The description of each item was very high in detail. The museum personnel were very curious and exceptionally knowledgeable. If you plan to visit, make sure you allow for the time. The building is massive and every area has treasures you and your family will not want to miss. I... More

Recommended by colleagues I walked to the museum. It is situated on a hill. Beautiful old building nice stairs and very friendly staff. Their collection is not the big names like Rembrandt or Van Gogh but really nice relatively unknown Dutch and Flemish painters and a lot of American and Asian art. I enjoyed myself in this museum. Nice restaurant... More

Not being an art fan, I STILL love coming to this place. I enjoy going to all the rooms and seeing things what my husband enjoys looking at. I have gone to some of the special exhibits. There are some things that have been there all my life, and those are the things i look forward to the most.

For a FREE museum, you can't get much better. You just pay $4 to park (unless you are a member or you spend a certain amount in the cafe or gift shop). This museum is HUGE and I don't feel you do it justice by trying to get through it in less than a day. Take a picnic and have... More

One of my favorite places in Cincinnati!! The collection is always rotating and exciting. The staff is very accomodating, if you have questions and kids are welcome to explore, create and open thier minds to new beautiful items. Great place to go, anytime.

I have lived in Cincinnati for many years but didn't go here because I am not fan of Picaso thing. But, fortunately, I had a chance to go this place by attending the conference and surprised by its attractiveness. I highly recommend this place for everyone~!

The museum is free due to a substantial gift from an anonymous donor. The bad news now they charge you for parking. Shifty but to not let that dissuade you. There is all kinds of art from all over the world here. You might think it is too small to offer the greats and Masters but they are here. The... More
