I made a stop here for their antiquities and Impressionist paintings. I found the antiquities room to be a very nice display. The collection is small, but it was interesting (even though I have seen similar objects at other museums). The plaques were informative too. The Impressionist paintings are in their own room, which makes it easy to enjoy viewing... More

I took my teenage daughter here, as we both enjoy art, and she and I had a decent time. We spent a couple of hours here, and liked seeing some of the works and artifacts. She especially loved this small room they have that is covered in fine detail (wish I remembered the name of the room!) of wood carvings,... More

We saw the whole museum in an hour or so. The Indianapolis Art is so much more interesting. We won't go back again,

The Cincinnati Art Museum is one of our treasures. It houses exhibits from ancient Egypt (Think:"mummies!") through van Gogh, and every type of painting you can imagine. And, IT IS FREE thanks to some fantastic donors who want the treasures to be seen by all.

Plenty of great pieces. I visited on Mothers day which wasn't really the best day to go. It was a bit loud but that really has nothing to do with the museum. It's a wonderful place, somewhere nice to go and think.

This is a fabulous museum in a beautiful setting. The Egyptian section is amazing. A big fan of the permanent collection- which is free to the public. We love going in the morning and then spending the afternoon in Eden Park/Krohn Conservatory or heading to Mt. Adams.

Cincinnati has long been famous as a center for the arts, and this museum is one of the main reasons. A magnificent art museum by any standard, and worth a trip to visit.

I love the art museum. I have been countless times and each time it feels like a new experience. They have classics ones on display continuously, but they are often switching out other exhibits and making renovations. They are always improving and adding new wings to the facilities. There is a spot upstairs that is constantly changing after a month... More

In case you think art is fiction and lies, you'll enjoy the statue of Pinocchio at the entrance of the museum. The collection is not overwhelming, but you can get tired trying to see all of it, and there are some good places to sit and enjoy the art. Treasures are displayed in the entrance hall, including the Amati viola,... More
