The Natural History Museum brings our geologic past to life (dinosaurs for the grand kids), the Cincinnati Historical Society demonstrates the urban history of Cincinnati with many superb exhibits and allows research opportunities (trains and other visuals for the younger crowd), and the I-Max and special exhibits (Pompey, Tut, etc.) provide a display of wonders from around the world. Everyday displays are impressive but it gets even better when special events are there. You want a cave experience without climbing the weather elements, go to our museum-we have a wonderful cave. I'm part Cherokee Indian so I love the big Indian display. Great place to take visitors to learn a little or a lot about the area history!

I love many attractions in Cincinnati, but not this. Exhibits are dated. Prices seem high for the limited experience. If you're looking for a children's museum take the 90 minute drive to Indy.

If you are a fan of Art Deco design and architecture, the Union Terminal building itself is a must see, both inside and out. If you are a fan of the age of rail travel, the Union Terminal itself is again, a must see. So, beyond the three world class museum inside the Cincinnati Museum Center, the building itself is... DC Comics fans should visit this building, which inspired the look of the iconic Justice League headquarters. Stick around though - there is plenty to do inside. The art deco train station houses the incredibly popular Children's Museum, as well as the Cincinnati Historic Museum, and the Natural History Museum. No visit is complete without checking out a film at... More

My husband and I are regulars at this Cincinnati landmark. Has amazing exhibits and the IMAX can't be beat. Regardless of the season, there's always something going on here. Festivals and special exhibits are just the tip of the iceberg. I never miss a chance to look through the shops and love showing guests the whispering wall. Children especially love... More

Step back into the 1920's thru the 1950's when train travel dominated the American experience. Murals depicting early Cincinnati to present day Cincinnati, as well as home to The Museum of Natural Sciences and The Children's Museum.

The Museum Center offers wonderful experiences for children and adults alike. If you have never stepped inside the spectacular "grand" lobby, prepared to be awestruck... you'll be stepping back into the gilded age of Art Deco. The children's museum and play/learning areas do indeed draw the attention of young ones. The Natural History Museum offers an excellent collection; what one... More

A great place for families. Let the kids explore the museum, take your time. So much to see and do. Be sure to find the elevator that takes you up to the Railroad Museum and take the time to speak with the historians that can tell you all about the building and history of the rail yard which can be...
