Winemakers were great in sharing their expertise, loved the wines (several whites - Chardonnay, Grenache Blanc, white Rhone blend - in addition to reds indigenous to the area), & the winery itself (only open a few hours Saturday unless you call for an appointment) was much more casual than most of the wineries in the area. Reminded us of early... More

We have known Rulo wines for years, and love it, always high quality, and reasonable prices. This visit to Walla Walla, we made an appt with Vicki. The entire experience, the wines, the visiting, the atmosphere - were all outstanding, as always. Vicki is a wealth of knowledge, and she obviously loves to share it, along with their wines. We... We travel to Walla Walla each year for our anniversary. We always make it a point to stop at Rulo to visit Vicki and Kurt, awesome people. There wine is far the best in the valley, and you will learn so much as Kurt and Vicki take time to talk and explain their operation. There not open all the time... More

I always visit Rulo when wine tasting in Walla Walla. The owners are so lovely and down to earth. The tasting "room" is in the wine making/barrel storing area. It is small, behind an unmarked green door so a bit hard to find on your first visit. Worth the stop, great wine-I love their reds!

Over the last several years, Rulo Winery has become one of our regular stops - and usually our first - when wine tasting and buying in the Walla Walla valley. The owners, Kurt and Vicki, are incredibly friendly and helpful. It is nice to visit a winery where the owners and wine makers are there to answer questions in person.... More

Rulo winery was our first stop in a weekend's worth of tastings in Walla Walla and we couldn't have hoped for a better start. Walking into the tasting area of their spotless winery, Vicki greeted us with a smile and a handful of glasses, meanwhile a friend of the family stepped outside to retrieve the winemaker from hitting golf balls... Four of us visited Walla Walla on a wine-tasting spree for 6 days. Went to 45 wineries and tasted more wines than we count count. Our favorite was Rulo. You have to make an appointment, but was not difficult to do. The owners-operators, Kurt and Vicki, are the people who greet you, pour the wines, and talk to you about... More

You taste in the small winery building that is super clean. The wines are also immaculate in their cleanliness and varietal truth. Both reds and whites are extremely good values and great tasting wines.
