We visited the tasting room within a block or two of The Marcus Whitman Hotel, and everyone was impressed by the quality of the wines. Walla Walla is overflowing with fantastic wine, and yet Seven Hills stood out. The staff were knowledgeable and professional. The tasting room had a little gift area, which was nice. Make time to go here.

We did a 25 winery tour of the area and stopped on Day 3 at Seven Hills winery. It is located in downtown right behind the Marcus Whitman hotel where we stayed for 2 days. The wine tasting room is very nice and our wine host was well informed and did a very nice job. While you will hear the... More

Top of any trip to Washington by touring and tasting the Walla Walla wineries. Described as the new "Napa" you'll find excellent red wine and merlot. Seven Hills is one of the best. With a tasting room downtown you can experience all of their wines. We were so impressed we joined their wine club and receive regular shipments. Don't miss... More

Very knowledgable staff and good wines. Staff was familiar with other area wineries and very willing to share information. Staff made me feel very at home and welcomed. Made good suggestion for dinner.

Really enjoyed our experience at the tasting room downtown. Very nice people, and of course very knowledgeable about not only their wine, but about the Walla Walla culture as well. Signed up for the "Family Circle" which offers some excellent discounts on their selections.

If you are interested in history this may appeal to you, but if you are interested in wine it is best to skip if and go elsewhere in the Clare. The staff are not at all interested in telling tasters about the wine, and when asked if the label had any information on it, the answer was 'no, not much'.... More

The wine was excellent but nothing more than any of the other 8 wineries we visited. We found it a bit "snobby" compared to the other tasting rooms and that kind of detracted from the experience. Might try not pushing so hard to sell and allow the wine to sell itself.

We stopped by this winery because of its location in an old furniture factory, and the reputation of its wine. I was delighted with both. The building was interesting to look at while sipping wines, which were very good. The Cabernet Sauvignon is definitely worth a try. This is certainly one of the better winery stops in Walla Walla.
