This experience was the highlight of our week long stay in Walla Walla. If you are lucky enough to ask for Cellar Master Brian Biagi you are in for an experience of your life. He highlights, in intricate detail, the wine making process of Basel Cellars, demonstrating his passion for wine making. We were able to also tour the 13,500... More

What a great time! We just sampled 6 wines and two BONUS wines here. These are really great wines and priced really well for the area. The Sauvignon Blanc Semillon blend which was very interesting for white wine. We bought that and a bottle of the claret which was really nicely balanced with a real chewy like mouthfeel. Afterwards Brian... More

Basel Cellar Winery was absolutely amazing! It is a smaller winery, but they have a good selection and an intimate atmosphere. The view is breathtaking, the property very well taken care of, the wine is excellent and reasonably priced, and the staff is wonderful! Brian and Kaleb walked us through our tasting experience and were very knowledgable and willing to... More

Wonderful. Amazing. Delicious. Caleb welcomed us right as we walked in. We were traveling across country with our two kids (8 and 2) plus a dog and they were all too accommodating for all. The weather was gorgeous (70 in Nov!) so we sat outside while the dog and kids ran around the property. Caleb came outside each time to... More

My mom and I took a quick overnight trip to Walla Walla for wine tasting. Neither of us had visited Basel Cellars in the past, but after hearing great things about the wine and scenery, we decided to make this our first stop. Boy am I glad we did! Being a Tuesday early afternoon in the "off season" we had... More

By far the most beautiful location for a winery I've seen. High up on a hill overlooking the Blue Mtns. in the distance with the vineyards close in, the winery looks like a mansion. The tasting selections are very nice and diverse. The tasting fee is waived if you buy a bottle. Although the area is known more for its... More

This was such a relaxing place to visit. They have nice seating outside overlooking the vineyard. Great wine tasting. It is definitely a place you should check out.
