I went during the off season, so there wasn't a lot going on. I enjoyed looking at the art work, though - different paintings and mosaic tiles on walls. There was music throughout the park, and it was right across from the murals.

My daughter is 6 y/o. She enjoyed playing on the wooden playground. We went early and there were really only a few children there. Despite not having a playmate she enjoyed the scenery and all the amenities this playground had to office. It's across the street from some beautiful murals, active train tracks, and the river so you can also... More

A nice detour for our kids. They were getting a little tired of all the museums and history, so this park was in a great downtown location and allowed them to run around for a bit. As an added bonus the Vicksburg Riverfront Murals are across the street so we added that to our afternoon as well.

We made a quick stop here and the kids hated to leave. They begged to go back for the next 2 days~ It is a very nice playground area. I wish the murals didn't block the view of the river though!

Catfish Row is a series of river wall paintings which stretch for perhaps two blocks. At the north end of this wall lies the city's Children's Art Park offering a fun time for children. A nice break if you have children in your party, but also a nice stroll even if you don't.

What a fun park! Filled with walls to run around and hide behind decorated with children's art and dotted with columns topped with steamboat smokestack designs. Also included a fountain park and wooden structures for climbing on and swinging from. Wish we'd brought the grandchildren.

great little park with excellent playground equipment and some art. The music gave it a great atmosphere. There are also lots of christmas statues at this time of year which my kids loved.

If you want to relax and watch the locals have fun this would be the place. Kids get to run under waterfountains and adults can picnic or chat under cool shade trees. Along the Yazoo riverfront and River murals are right across the street. Parking available for free.

Nice park and sitting area with well maintained playground equipment for kids to play on. There is also a splash park type area, small but a place for the kids to cool off (adults too). We sat while the kids played here waiting for fireworks on Independence Day. Nice place.

I traveled to Vicksburg for July 4th with my famlly and we drove around the river front checking out the downtown area. Really neat stuff; the city is working to improve downtown so be patient, it's worth taking a look see.
