My family wholeheartedly recommends Rainbow Scuba for scuba diving in Hawaii. I have previously taken a beginners class in the Cayman Islands and loved the experience. I wanted my wife, brother and sister-in-law to take a beginners class in Hawaii and doing research found Rainbow Scuba to be by far the best on the island. My wife contacted Ken and... More

I have been a Padi diver for 38 years, having dived for in Fiji, New Zealand, The Barrier Reef and PNG, The “SEA TIGER” wreck dive would be on my top 5 best dives ever. I am not easily impressed and I was. Ken the dive master was great. If you only do one dive in Honolulu do this dive.... More

We stopped over for a few days in Honolulu from an around the world trip. Jeff and Ken were easy to deal with, and the service was top notch. Our guide (Jeff) was like a fish in the water, knew the dive-sites like the back of his hand and was able to spot the wildlife from a mile away. We... More

The guys at Rainbow Scuba are laid back in that total Hawaiian way in everything but safety. They are task master on the safety front! I trusted these guys with my entire family and they really took care of us all. They taught, they retaught and then they reviewed everything we needed to know one more time. They took their... More

We had a great experience with Jeff on our diving tour. Jeff and my brother went out earlier in the day and then later my mother and I met up to do a discovery dive. It was both first times for us. During the dive my mother had a panic attack and I was unaware at first, until I looked... More

Rainbow scuba was awesome! We got to dive at two different spots and saw turtles, reef shark, eel & octopus! One of the coolest things we did in Oahu. Ken was very thorough and made you feel comfortable in the water. Definitely recommend doing this!

My family tried scuba for the first time. Brian picked us up from our hotel on time and went straight to harbor. We received all the rentals gears, and the boat took off for the first dive. Ken went through safety info, gears, basic breathing techniques and we had enough time to get used to the basics. He was very... More

Just back from our trip and diving with these guys was a highlight. My husband, son and I, all experienced open water divers, dove with Jeff and Ken. We dove the Sea Wolf wreck, and a near by reef. Saw lots of turtles, a white tip shark, some eels and played with an octopus. On board service was great. All... More
