Description: Hawaii Food Tours™ was created by Hawaii's #1 Food Writer and Restaurant...
Hawaii Food Tours™ was created by Hawaii's #1 Food Writer and Restaurant Reviewer, Chef Matthew Gray. It's for those who love food & fun. Voted Best Tours on Oahu for the past two years in a row! Two different daily tours; one takes place in & around Honolulu... the other goes to the North Shore. We will feed, educate and entertain you all day long! MSNBC Network called us one of the best food experiences in the world! These fantastic tours feature Yummy Food, Fascinating History, and Culinary Decadence! Our Famous Hole-in-the-Wall Tour™ includes a behind-the-scenes walking and tasting tour in Honolulu's amazingly colorful Chinatown! It's an entertaining, informative and FUN Honolulu City Tour with several stops, including 2 of Hawaii's most famous Bakeries & one of a kind Marketplaces. You'll be eating between 15 & 20 different foods! This tour takes place all over Honolulu, away from the touristy areas of Waikiki, where only the real locals go to eat. Our North Shore Food Tour™ gives guests a tasty glimpse of the colorful and rural "countryside" area of our island of Oahu. Many people read about the North Shore, about the beautiful huge waves, the garlic shrimp trucks, and rustic away-from-the-city areas, and that's what we give our guests, including some genuine Hawaiian food, a garlic shrimp plate, various pastries, Hawaiian Beer, and a visit to a coffee and sugar plantation.

The Hole in the Wall tour was amazing! Bring your appetite! Great tour guides, Bill and Krystal were very helpful and very knowledgeable. Supplied with bottled water for the group which was a nice surprise. Our favorite was the Kalua pig manapua and the original malasada was the bomb dot com! We've been to Waikiki twice and this was the... More

My partner and I just completed the hole in the wall tour with Krystal and Robin. Both were extremely friendly and knowledgeable guides that obviously have a passion for food. The tour takes you to the current foody hotspots whilst also giving you a taste for some more basic local produce. Excellent tasting format and just enough relevant historical background... More

I decided to do this tour on my first daknowledgeabley in hawaii as it was my first visit and i wanted to get a sense of layout of the place and try some delicious food along the way! Had Robin and Ari as my tour guides and they were just spectacular. Very knowledgeable in food and local Hotspots. Be aware... More

I just returned from a wonderful week on Oahu. One of the things that made it great was going on the Hole in the Wall Food Tour with Robin and Krystal. It was fabulous. This was my second time on this tour and it was great. I was traveling with my mother and my sister and all of us had... More

What started off as a great morning where Robin Lee took us on a story through his childhood running to Royal Kitchen for fresh manapua, the stories quickly grew longer and the food scarcer. We spent the majority of the tour literally "in a hole in the wall" in Chinatown waiting for the food to come to us. Perhaps wait... More

My partner & I just finished the Hole-In-The-Wall Food Tour with Robin & Ariana, we had the best time! This is more than just a food tour, it's an awesome experience & you get to know so much history about the areas you travel to that you wouldn't normally know about if you just walked through it alone. From the... More

My husband and I enjoyed the Hawaii Food Tour immensely! A good blend of food and food for thought. Robin and Krystal were great guides with a friendly manner and a lot of knowledge about Hawaiian history and food trends. We loved the "coco puffs," baked pork buns, fresh rice noodles, caramel apple bananas and fruit smoothie the best, but... More

Thank you Robin and Ari for a wonderful day. This was a super combination of food and history. We loved the tour of China Town, the delicious sweet treats, the professionalism and knowledge of our hosts. Highlights were the noodle factory and Leonard's! If we ever return to Honolulu we plan on joining you for the North Shore Tour.

Maria and I loved learning about Hawaiian culture from Keahola and Robin. We have now decided to embrace the statement "commit to the bite" as a regular practice. Learning about hula and family traditions was wonderful from Keahola and Robin seemed to be an endless source of knowledge of food and culture for this beautiful island. Thanks for a wonderful...
