My husband and I did the Hole in The Wall food tour with Matthew and Kiera in October, 2011. Each time I would start to e-mail my comments to them, I would seem to ramble on and on about the wonderful day we had. Now, four months later, I thought I might be able to do my review in just... More

As testified to by many others on this site, the "Hole in the Wall" food tour of Honolulu is great. Unusual, delicious food, great stories and insights from the guides, lots of tasty treats (do NOT say you are full by stop 2 - it's the only thing that will wipe the smile off your guide's face :-) only momentarily... My husband and I have never enjoyed a food tour more! Matthew and Kiera were the most gracious hosts as they shared their love of Honolulu and its special ethnic foods with us. Every stop was a taste sensation from the first delicious Hawaiian bread stuffed buns through the yummy cocoa puffs and all the unique foods of Chinatown ending... More

Sahara and Bill were our foodie tour guides and we had the BEST time together. We loved spending time our small group and finding the best little food spots on the island. Each stop was amazing and we loved getting away from the 'touristy' spots! Our favorite stop was China Town. Another bonus was how willing Sahara was to help... More

I accompanied my husband on a recent business trip, and I was looking for something fun and unique to do by myself during the day. The Hole in the Wall Food Tour definitely did not disappoint. Matthew and Keira were phenomenal hosts. Friendly, engaging, and so well-informed. We stopped at so many unique places and enjoyed so many different food... More

We took this tour near the end of our vacation and wish we would have booked sooner. They take you to all the local hangouts, Chinatown farmers market, rice noodle factory, Hawaiin bakeries, Char Siu, Poke to die for..... and stuff you with FREE food. Seriously folks, this was like a 20 course meal topped off with the BEST fruit... More

The interesting food and experience this tour provides in top notch. But the best thing you get from the tour are two new friends in... More

this tour was awesome! Not only did they take us to amazing places that had great food, we received valuable information about other dining options and received a great insight into Hawaiian culture and history. The staff were very knowledgable not only about the places visited but also about all dining portions on Oahu. They also provided a lot of... More
