Description: Hawaii Food Tours™ was created by Hawaii's #1 Food Writer and Restaurant...
Hawaii Food Tours™ was created by Hawaii's #1 Food Writer and Restaurant Reviewer, Chef Matthew Gray. It's for those who love food & fun. Voted Best Tours on Oahu for the past two years in a row! Two different daily tours; one takes place in & around Honolulu... the other goes to the North Shore. We will feed, educate and entertain you all day long! MSNBC Network called us one of the best food experiences in the world! These fantastic tours feature Yummy Food, Fascinating History, and Culinary Decadence! Our Famous Hole-in-the-Wall Tour™ includes a behind-the-scenes walking and tasting tour in Honolulu's amazingly colorful Chinatown! It's an entertaining, informative and FUN Honolulu City Tour with several stops, including 2 of Hawaii's most famous Bakeries & one of a kind Marketplaces. You'll be eating between 15 & 20 different foods! This tour takes place all over Honolulu, away from the touristy areas of Waikiki, where only the real locals go to eat. Our North Shore Food Tour™ gives guests a tasty glimpse of the colorful and rural "countryside" area of our island of Oahu. Many people read about the North Shore, about the beautiful huge waves, the garlic shrimp trucks, and rustic away-from-the-city areas, and that's what we give our guests, including some genuine Hawaiian food, a garlic shrimp plate, various pastries, Hawaiian Beer, and a visit to a coffee and sugar plantation.

Was a great tour with Robin and Krystal. Learned about different food that aren't common on the mainland. Also learned about the different cultures that make up Honolulu and the islands. The cream puffs are the greatest. Got a chance to purchase groceries in the Chinatown market.

My partner booked this tour, as she knows I'm a food enthusiast. We initially wanted to reserve the North shore tour, but it was full. So we took the Hole-in-the-wall tour instead. We were not disappointed. It's a 4 hour tour, with a good chunk of it in chinatown. There are several reasons why this tour is so pleasant and... More

If you have not visited Oahu before, or even if you have, if you are a "foodie" this tour is an absolute must. Putting aside for a second the content of the tour, the advice regarding where to eat etc. is worth the nominal fee alone. Just don't make the same mistake that we and the majority of our companions... More

This was a great way to get out of Waikiki and discover a lot of the local food places in Honolulu especially in China Town. The 4 hours was jam packed with information on restaurants and where to eat, history, sampling food and then before you are dropped off you get personal recommendations of places to eat and drink based... Did not realize how much we could learn about the diverse cultures of Hawaii while enjoying unique food. Robin and Ari were very knowledgeable and delightful. Would love to take another Hawaii food tour next time we are in Hawaii

This tour was one of the favorite things we did in Honolulu. Our tour guides, Robin and Crystal were fantastic. We went to fun places and experienced fun foods; Baked Manapua, Coco Puff Pastry - A cream puff shell filled with a rich, buttery, creamy chocolate filling and chantilly frosting. A couple of hours in China town with fun facts... More

This tour is a must do for food lovers. The tour is a really nice introduction to what the locals eat and gets you out of the chain and tourist trap area. Bill and Krystal are very knowledgeable and fun and provide an email with the places that we visit as well as their recommendations for places to visit the... More

I enjoyed the Hole in the Wall Tour so much, I booked this tour to check out Chef matthew Gray's other offering. We were not disappointed. On time pick up by our super friendly guides, Chef Robin and Kealoha. Off we went out of Waikiki and along the coast, being filled in about each area from our hosts who live... More

We took the tour on 7 Feb and cant say enough about what we learned about Honolulu and about the unique and exotic foods available around the city. Robin was extremely knowledgeable and the outgoing Ari made this day one of the highlights of our trip to Hawaii. Don't miss it!

My wife and I did the tour with Robin and Ari last week. We had a great time trying food that we would probably never get to try on our own. If you have a sweet tooth this tour is for you. I still think about the Malasadas we had from Leonard's bakery, the Cocoa Puffs from Liliha bakery, and... More
