Description: Hawaii Food Tours™ was created by Hawaii's #1 Food Writer and Restaurant...
Hawaii Food Tours™ was created by Hawaii's #1 Food Writer and Restaurant Reviewer, Chef Matthew Gray. It's for those who love food & fun. Voted Best Tours on Oahu for the past two years in a row! Two different daily tours; one takes place in & around Honolulu... the other goes to the North Shore. We will feed, educate and entertain you all day long! MSNBC Network called us one of the best food experiences in the world! These fantastic tours feature Yummy Food, Fascinating History, and Culinary Decadence! Our Famous Hole-in-the-Wall Tour™ includes a behind-the-scenes walking and tasting tour in Honolulu's amazingly colorful Chinatown! It's an entertaining, informative and FUN Honolulu City Tour with several stops, including 2 of Hawaii's most famous Bakeries & one of a kind Marketplaces. You'll be eating between 15 & 20 different foods! This tour takes place all over Honolulu, away from the touristy areas of Waikiki, where only the real locals go to eat. Our North Shore Food Tour™ gives guests a tasty glimpse of the colorful and rural "countryside" area of our island of Oahu. Many people read about the North Shore, about the beautiful huge waves, the garlic shrimp trucks, and rustic away-from-the-city areas, and that's what we give our guests, including some genuine Hawaiian food, a garlic shrimp plate, various pastries, Hawaiian Beer, and a visit to a coffee and sugar plantation.

This tour was highly recommended by friends who had been on it in April. Our family enjoyed the Hole In The Wall tour by our guides Robin and Krystal. They were great tour guides that were very knowledgable and entertaining! The food we tasted was delicious and would have been food we never would have had. We even returned to... More

I was by myself all day while my boyfriend was working so I decided to check out this food tour. I was so glad I did. The food was really delicious and covered a huge spectrum of what is available in Oahu. While there was a heavy focus on China Town, it felt appropriate to me because there is such... More

I have been on several food tours but this one covered a larger area than most. The variety of food that we sampled was very good and we got a good overall view of food in Hawaii. Would definitely recommend.

We found this tour on Trip Advisor and love food - had to go! We joined the Hole-in-the-Wall Tour because the North Shore tour was only available on days we wouldn't be on the island (bummer). The tour was the first thing we booked and it was definitely one of our favorite things we did on our trip. I loved... More

Today's "food tour", with Robin and Krystal, ranks among one of the best of the many food tours that I've had the privilege of joining. The variety of food, along with cultural history, was presented well with excellent tasting of authentic food. Robin (past executive chef) and Krystal (Ms Waikiki--she has infinite knowledge on Waikiki restaurants) worked very well together... More

I just finished my North Shore food tour and I couldn't be more satisfied. Our guides, Robin and Anastasia were very friendly and knowledgable and took us to a lot of places I would never have thought to go on my own. We got a wonderful tour of the North Shore with some background on history and culture and also... More

The Hole in the Wall Food Tour was a fantastic way to get introduced to Oahu. It offered not only an "eating like a local" experience, but also a super overview of the island and the history. Let's not forget about the food though. Tour guides Robin and Aria shared with us some fantastic food in places that you would... More

We had a fabulous food tour in Oahu!. Went to various places to taste authentic Hawaiian food. Loved the visit to the outdoor market. Our guide was wonderful (previous chef) named Ari and he made sure we were entertained, enlightened and well-fed. Very worth while.

Hawaiian Food Tours does a great job introducing you to real Hawaiian food. Get away from Waikiki and see the real Hawaii. Guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. Take the tour early in your visit so you can go back and try some of their recommendations. Don't eat breakfast so you are hungry

Pros: great food, knowledgeable guides, entertaining, and will leave full! Cons: Getting in and out of the van at certain stops was a little inconvenient and led to a lot of waiting around, waiting for people to load and unload, waiting on the van to park, etc, but this is necessary to get to all the different food stops and...
