Beautiful - what's not to love running near the ocean in January? Or in July? It's a long walk with beautifully paved stones. There are many tourists (of course, it's Waikiki!) so run early on your way from Waikiki to Diamond Head!

The Beach walk is great along Kalakawa Drive. There are many high end stores and restaurants along this road so you have to pick and choose where you want to shop or eat. Best thing to do is not to impulse shop and walk along the drive cause if you see the item remember where it is and keep walking... More

Been there - done that - won't go again. Waikiki is just like any other big city: overpriced stores and restaurants, too many people, and signs of poverty just a few blocks away.

Waikiki Beach Walk is a beautiful shopping/lodging complex just a block off the beach. Many small shops, some owner-operated, along with a multitude of eating establishments plus a couple of ABC stores. Our resort was in the complex and we found it to be a great place overall even though we are not inclined to patronize the pricier venues.

Waikiki Beach Walk is a wonderful few blocks lined with shops and restaurants on two levels, right in the heart of Waikiki. There are also frequent hula or music shows in grassy areas that can be enjoyed for free. Fun place to spend some time, and some money if you hit the shops here.

We walked along this stretch of beach often during our stay. My favourite time to walk along here was first thing in the morning when it was cooler, and not too many people were about. One evening we were here there was a free show. There is a lot to see and do in this area, so do fit a... More

We walked the length of Waikiki Beach from the Outrigger Reef Hotel right down to the aquarium and war memorial swimming pool at Kapiolani Park. Sometimes we walked on the sand and other times we took the road where the shops are. It was a really nice walk, with lots of things to see on the way.

I suppose I wasn't ready for the sand being roped off in front of some hotels - I guess guests come first, but this doesn't happen in Australia. Lovely view of surf, sails and Diamond Head. Still worth an amble!

It was a nice walk. Didn't go into any of the expensive stores though. Lots of restaurants too, but again on the pricy side.

A real estate to Waikiki. There are great shops and amazing restaurants including Cheeseburgers, PF Chang and Ruth Chris' steakhouse
