My wife and I stopped by here to kill some time. We were rather disappointed. It is filled with almost all very high end stores like you would find on Rodeo Drive. Just not our scene. Finding parking is also quite difficult.

The Waikiki Beach Walk offers restaurants and shopping all with a view of the beach (in areas). The stores are upscale and the restaurants for the most part pricy but it is quite a busy and lively area to walk around. There are a lot of homeless but being from NY and living there at a time where homelessness was... More

The homeless are everywhere in Waikiki. So sad that Honolulu can't keep them out of this high tourist area. People spend thousands of dollar to come here. I am not heartless to the homeless situation, but they need to be kept out of this high- rent area, where tourists spend a lot of money. It rained a few days we... More

This may not be a bad thing from others point of view, but what's the sense of coming to Hawaii and entering stores where I can find the same thing in NYC, and with a better atmosphere. Well, that's what Waikiki is all about, shopping!

Perfect setup stroll to walk before asking the big question. We spent the day on Waikiki beach, then ate some ice cream and lunch. Then walked around site seeing until sunset. There was an unusual amount of homeless people around it seemed. But other than that it was really really nice and romantic.

Beach Walk replaced the old shops and restaurants on Lewers St. Beach walk is modern and has good restaurants such as PF Changs, Yard House and Denny's many local shops and coffee bars line the street. This is a fun area to have s snack, lunch or dinner. Take advantage of happy hour at PF changs and Yard house

My family (6) of us stayed at the Waikiki Beach Walk on Lewers Street - Aug 9 to Aug 16/13. The accommodation (we had a 1 bedroom) rest of family had (2 bedroom) was everything we could have hoped for. Well appointed units, friendly staff and our location was in the middle of 'everything'. A walk to Waikiki Beach was... More

We were fortunate to visit just after Labour Day so the beach and the beach walk were very quiet. The walk is long so on a sunny day be sure to wear your sunscreen, bring a hat and water. Or you could always make pit stops at the local beach line restaurants, hotels and snack shacks! You can walk it... More
