Owner description: Welcome to Hawaiian Fire! In early 2000, we created our company with a very simple idea in mind: to provide our guests with not only a surf lesson, but a surfing experience that would rival the most memorable times of their lives. Our combination of the very best island firefighter surf instructors, a pristine secluded beach with perfect rolling beginner waves and the use of state-of-the-art safety equipment has been our recipe for success. We take great pride in our crew who really know the meaning of teamwork and the value of a quality experience. We've received hundreds of testimonial letters and emails telling us that it was not just the surf lesson, but also the instructors and staff that made their experience so special. Our team is rooted in the values of the Fire Service which translates to "taking care of people", above everything else. Thank you for taking the time to check out Hawaiian Fire Surf School, providers of the best surf lesson on Oahu. When you are in Hawaii, let us teach you to surf and give you the experience of a lifetime.

My family of four had a blast with this company. My one daughter caught on really quick so they gave hers some things to challenge her so she didn't get board. I am not a huge water sport person but I felt very safe and fell in love with surfing. Beach was quiet and easy to get to as we... More

My two daughters had a lesson and did great. The current was strong and they kept pulling them back before they floated too far away. The two hour lesson was just the right length and safety was a top priority. The location is secluded which is also nice. They were able to ride many waves.

My 12 year old daughter and I had an excellent surfing experience. The instructors were super friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive. They had us up riding waves in no time. The beach location was great. Not crowded at all. I highly recommend Hawaiian Fire.

The wife and I did this with our 4 teens. It was a perfect combo of location, instruction, and time. None of us had surfed before but we were up in no time. The secluded location was great, there was a good ratio of instructors to the 10 in our group, and there was plenty of time in the water.... More

If you want surf lessons in Hawaii, this is the place to go! Great instructors in a secluded beach setting, and the instructors are all Honolulu firefighters that are very safety conscious. I can't say enough about what a great experience this was for me and my family! I had always wanted to learn to surf, and even with some... More

The instructors were attentive, patient and friendly...great deal of emphasis placed on safety. It was exhilarating! It's a beautiful location, but really remote...bathroom facilities aren't working...the porta potties were awful...cars kept getting stuck in the sand/mud.
