In early 2000, we created our company with a very simple idea in mind: to provide our guests with not only a surf lesson, but a surfing experience that would rival the most memorable times of their lives. Our combination of the very best island firefighter surf instructors, a pristine secluded beach with perfect rolling beginner waves and the use of state-of-the-art safety equipment has been our recipe for success. We take great pride in our crew who really know the meaning of teamwork and the value of a quality experience. We've received hundreds of testimonial letters and emails telling us that it was not just the surf lesson, but also the instructors and staff that made their experience so special. Our team is rooted in the values of the Fire Service which translates to "taking care of people", above everything else. Thank you for taking the time to check out Hawaiian Fire Surf School, providers of the best surf lesson on Oahu. When you are in Hawaii, let us teach you to surf and give you the experience of a lifetime. « less

We took 4 teenagers to this program over spring break. None of them had previously surfed before, and all of them were standing up on their boards in no time. The instructors were friendly and encouraging, and it was just long enough that the kids were not too tired out. They have a photographer who takes photos from the shore... More

If you are vacationing in Hawaii, then you must try the sport of Hawaiian kings and queens. Hawaiian Fire has great instructors! My kids (ages 10, 12 & 15) took lessons in the Ko Olina area. The beach HF used was awesome! Not crowded and the break was closer. Much better than the break in Waikiki. Don't forget to get... More

My 13 year old son and I took in a lesson during Spring Break and it could not have gone better. The team that taught us were so friendly, helpful and capable - I felt comfortable the minute we met up with them on the beach. We were staying at Aulani but we drove ourselves, instead of getting a ride... More

My 12 year old son took lessons from Hawaiian Fire and loved it! I watched the lessons from the beach and took lots of pictures. I was so amazed at how fast he picked it up and was surfing!!! I felt like it was safe and the firefighters were very experienced. For a mom, what more could you want than... More

It was amazing surfing in Hawaii because the waves were better than the main land of USA. Now I'm buying a surf board so I can surf in the summer and maybe show my three little cousin how awesome surfing is. Later dudes Shaka!

From pickup to dropoff, and everything in between, best experience ever. The guys were not only friendly and knowledgable, they were super attentive the whole time. What you should know before you go: Even if it's drizzly, sunscreen up. The sun will probably come out. There is a tarp on the beach and camp chairs to sit in. It gets... More

Hawaiian Fire is the best! Our morning with Hawaiian Fire was a blast! We had the best time - the instructors are terrific and made surfing very accessible to the beginner! The staff is enthusiastic and patient and most importantly fun! They have a great attitude and are sincerely excited to expose people to the sport of surfing. We had... More

My 15 year old son really wanted to learn to surf while we were on vacation. He convinced his 13 year old sister to also sign up for a lesson. She was extremely nervous and not sure she even wanted to do it. Both kids surfed successfully and had lots of fun doing it. Even though my daughter went with... More

My family of four (two adults and one college student, one high school student) loved it! The instructors are great. Professional, enthusiastic and fun! Safety lesson was even fun. Great pics from cameraman, too! We all stood up on our boards very soon into the lesson. Follow the admin directions to the beach. Highly highly recommend! Thanks, Hawaiian Fire!
