You're guaranteed to see something but each dive and each window will give a different view. If the sub is full, you'll find it difficult to maneuver into optimal picture taking position. Better to sign up for non peak times so there are empty seats and wiggle room. If you expect to see what's in the brochure you'll be VERY... More

Very impressive experience from beginning to end, especially when things are explained in English, Mandarin & Japanese by the same person. Nice ride out to the drop zone, many fish to see and great information on history of the site. Worth every dollars paid.

Great tour and highly recommended if you are in Honolulu. The tour was well organized, the staff were extremely friendly and professional, along with great informative commentary with a bit a good quality humor thrown in. I work as a Senior Manager in the travel and tourism industry in Australia and I will be certainly informing my staff to recommend... More

This was an awesome experience for me and my husband. Having never been on a submarine before we did not know what to expect. The guides however made the whole process of getting onto the boat and then onto the sub so easy and enjoyable. Having one of the staff members guide us through the sub tour was humorous and... You get in a boat and ride out for about 10 minutes before seeing a submarine emerge from the waters. Afterwards, you board the sub and get underway. During the excursion, we saw plenty of beautiful fish and green sea turtles. Additionally, the tour guide is super knowledgeable about the underwater wildlife. You spend about 45 minutes under the water.... More

Aloha and thanks so much for taking the time to rate your experience and provide a review. We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed your adventure with us, and that our ocean friends came out to put on a show. Yes, the submarines are not equipped with bathrooms, but the shuttle boats are. We're very proud of our team members and... More

OK, this is an expensive attraction but a unique experience. The sub was fine, not claustrophobic at all. Large windows and plenty of room. We were on the smaller sub. I wish there had been more fish but we did see a turtle and a reef shark. Glad I did it but once was enough. Staff friendly and gave an... More

Aloha and thank you for providing your feedback and rating! We pride ourselves on being one of the most unique experiences in Hawaii. Unfortunately some days there are less fish and some more. However, shark and turtle sightings aren't everyday so it seems some of our ocean friends came to put on a show for you :-) Mahalo for joining... More

We were promptly picked up from a venue close to our hotel and driven to the jetty to board the boat. It was a short boat ride out to the submarine, we boarded safely and we were on our way down. The commentary was interesting as we cruised around at as low as 109ft. We were very lucky to see... More

We did the premium submarine tour because that sub holds 60 people and has more viewing ports. We parked and walked to the pier where we took a shuttle boat out to meet the submarine. The shuttle boat drops off at both submarines, the 60 passenger and the 48 passenger subs. The water is so clear. We saw lots of... More

It was very exciting. we were picked up from a pre designated spot near our hotel in a swanky Atlantis submarine bus and taken to the shore from where a cruiser took us to the spot where the submarine was. We went down a ladder to the submarine which had big glass windows to view the ocean bed. I thought... More

Aloha and thank you for your feedback and rating. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the submarine, but sad to hear our ocean friends didn't put on a show as much as you hoped. Sometimes they're just not as active on some days unfortunately—the mornings tend to be the best viewing time. When it is more active guests often see... More
