As with all attractions, your personality will affect how much you enjoy it. If you look at the trip as "you sit in a seat and watch fish go by", you'll regret paying this much money, go to an aquarium instead. But if you can get a little excited about being more than 100 feet under the water (only 1/10th... more

I did the Atlantis Sumbarine ride but I didn't come off the boat feeling like it was money well spent. I had done a 10 hour circle island bus tour a few days earlier for half the price that the 45 minute submarine ride cost. We got to see a bit of marine life, a few small fish and a... more

It was ok if you had never been on a submarine. The short boat ride was nice, and seeing the submarine surface was interesting. Other than that: man made reefs and some fish and turtles. After about ten minutes, it was not very interesting. I did not think it was worth the money, and was sorry I spent over 100... more

Go upstairs on the shuttle that takes you out to the submarine- the views are beautiful! Do take your sea legs with you- or dramamine! You'll need them both. The sub staff is very helpful and try to make the voyage fun with trivia and jokes. Also, folks with limitted mobility have no fear, I saw the staff help people... more

The crew of course has the classic Aloha Spirit friendly to a fault...but the trip itself was nothing, very little sea life noticed...it was boring. Try para sailing instead 10X better. more

We booked Atlantis submarines through Tom Barefoot Tours and also got a reduced rate on Captain Bob's Snorkle Trip. It had been windy the night before and we had quite a ride on the boat out to the submarine site, very large swells were coming in to Waikiki and the captain and crew handled the boat safely and comfortably and... more

We are lead to believe that we will see allot of amazing sea life, we did see a turtle and some fish. While the trip is different and unique because of ridding in a real sub you really don't see much. You spend allot of time looking out into nothingness and some man made reefs. The staffs on the sub... more

We booked online and that seemed to work out well. They have a shuttle that picked us up near our condo. The boat ride was good out to the sub. Nice views of Diamond Head and Waikiki when your on the top portion of the boat. Use the restroom on the boat because there aren't any on the sub. The... more
