A good spectacular Luau. This was a very entertaining show with delicious food. There were opportunities to participate. The drinks were good, and we got a free gift! Transport out to the show was good.

The setting is on the beach on the southwest part of Oahu. The ocean is very choppy and you won't be going into the water. Dress casually. The food was good and there was plenty from which to choose. A handful of performers were available for photos before everything started. The drinks are NOT watered down which was a pleasant... More

Just a buffet near beach. I was expecting stadium seating so that everyone could enjoy the show. Nope, picnic tables and so many people in a small space, lucky if you get to see anything. Children running around bumping into you while you are trying to eat the "traditional luau food", Yeah, not! Wish we would have went to the... More

Very uncomfortable picnic tables. Don't wear a dress. It's hard to straddle in a dress and on and off the picnic table. Food was mediocre. Entertainment was the best thing. Seemed very authentic.

What can you expect from this type of entertainment? As a matter of fact not much. As a rule you pay for pseudo ethnic, but not really professional, stuff. Germaine's Luau is different. The show is professional and excellent in all the extents: dancers, choreography, costumes, and the band. Nevertheless that Polynesian culture assumes some frivolity the show never crosses... More

The Luau is well worth a visit if you're going to do one. Our escort was Kale and he was brilliant. Funny, entertaining, and really made the bus ride enjoyable (which is maybe an hour each way?). The buffet provided was delicious, if over 21 you get 3 complimentary alcoholic drinks, and unlimited soft drink for all. The show was... More

To break it down: Been there before, I have no recollection of it being this cheese\y. Our chaperon was worn out from giving the same spiel a thousand times. The food was decent, thanks to the delicious kulua pork. The drinks were lame, terrible selection of beers and little to no top-shelf booze. If you're not a touchy feely sort... More

My huge family - group of 30 of us ages 12-60 - went to Germaine's luau on a recommendation from a very trustworthy source (my hula teacher!) We thought it would be a great idea for one of my cousins pre wedding events. We definitely were not disappointed! They were able to accommodate us last minute (the day before and... More

We went to Germaine's luau at the end of January. Our group consisted of 3 adults and 5 kids (ages 4-13) and we all had a blast! I do think it did get a bit long for the younger ones as it does go pretty late but they were mezmorized with the show so it really wasn't a problem while... More

Wonderful food and drinks. The emcee and entertainers were so very good. It was great fun for all ages and really nice for them to include children on stage to learn the hula. The entertainers were most gracious for photo ops.
