The entertainment was good. The food was very average. So many people to feed; well organised but felt a bit herded. There must have been about 7 busloads of tourists plus those that drove themselves. We went with a busload of our friends so that made it much better. Do not wear shoes that don't take the sand.

We always love going to Germaine's and we avail ourselves of the bus service which is half the fun. Food is as good as any luau and the entertainment is delivered with heart. Much Aloha spirit. Living social has a deal today and 1100 have sold so far so it will shut off soon. Just so you know. Always want... More

The folks @ Germaine's really go out of their way to make you feel "at home". Bonus if you are fortunate enough to get Kale as your tour bus escort. Funny man. Pay attention. If you do there is plenty to learn. The dancers are GREAT! The food was good. Plenty of flavor, plenty of variety and plenty to go... More

I took my 14 yr old son as this was his first trip to HAWAII. And he loved it. I helps when your guide tha t starts you out is a great entertainer. He enjoyed the dancing, and towards the end the dancer with fire. Again the bus trip back was entertaining as well. I think if a 14 yr... More

I felt that we had to attend a luau during our Hawaii vacation and probably didn't pick well. Firstly, we paid a lot more than $60 so whoever paid that per adult got a deal! And there were only 2 drinks per person, including non alcoholic if you wanted anything but watered down soda, A virgin cocktail required a drink... More

This Luau was just okay. Special seating close to the stage comes with a price. Some seats have trees in the way of the stage. The entertainment was good but I believe it could have been better. The food was buffet style, the hostess chose tables at random to get in line. Even at the end of the line there... More

I went primarily to say I did it, I was on my way home from business trip with 2 days only in Honolulu. I went to the Luau alone and still had a great time, 2 very nice sisters from Arkansas adopted me and have to say we had a blast! The show was outstanding and the hostess was out... More

If you want to waste 3 hours of your vacation in a bad way this is the perfect place they spend 2 out of three calling people up to the stage and the food is terrible.

If you want to be at the most touristy spot in Oahu and feel like a sardine then this is your place. Its overcrowded, fake (put on), overpriced (we paid $60 per adult) and really bad food. If I remember correctly there were only 2 drinks allowed as part of that hefty ticket price too. I would never recommend it... More

I have been to Germaine's Luau a couple times and will go again. It is a bit touristy but that's okay by me. First off, I LOVE the location as it is literally ON the beach so you can dig your toes in the sand. You get to actually watch them taking the pig out of the Imu oven. We... More
