We went in the morning and it wasn't packed, although it's close to the Ala Moana mall. There were a lot of locals doing picnics and a few couples doing wedding photos. It's a nice place to get out of the hustle of Waikiki Beach. It's a great place to take a swim and relax on the beach without feeling... More

The view from our Hotel, the Hawaii Prince, overlooks Magic Island and so it is a place we will always remember. We got our first glimpse of Oahu here and had walks here often. From our side the path follows around to Ala Moana beach. Great views from Magic Island across to Waikiki and Diamond Head in the distance. We... More

I go there just about everyday for a jog then hop into the water for a few laps. The water is calm and clean. Evening set you can watch sunset sunrise and outdoor shower you can wash up. And if you're hungry you can run across the street to Ala Moana mall food court. Just a great place.

Great but just like Waikiki it can sometimes be packed. And Ala Moana Shopping Center is nearby. I go when there is a picnic to attend.

this park is right across the street from the shopping centre and has lots of parking. its a large park with grass and trees, it has a beautiful beach and calm water fairly sheltered. Many couples use the park to get married....I did a few years ago. I have to say it was a nice place , very close to... More

Less crowded alternative to Waikiki Beach. There's a nice park, and a lagoon that is great for kids or anyone who wants to swim in calm waters.

Magic Island has it all. It has beautiful scenery, swimming, place to run, walk or just sit and enjoy. Easy access by bus and plenty of parking is available.

Conveniently located across Ala Moana Shopping Center. Its also next to Ala Moana Beach Park. Great place to just hang out away from the tourist crowd of Waikiki. There are lots of trees for shade here. Plenty of park benches and picnic tables to watch the swimmers, surfers, and the sunset, so make sure to bring your camera. Its great... More

A must do place when in Ohau. A great place to meet people and the Fire Dance on the Thursday nights is well worth seeing Ed.
