Interesting to visit. Lots of limos pulled up with Japanese tourists who just got married. Beach had a dozen couples in wedding dress taking pics while were were waiting for the sunset. Good place for people watching!

It's ok. Dead reef, surfing way out there, protected is the key here. Beach was a bit rocky but still barefoot walkable.

Magic Island, located at Ala Moana Beach Park, Oahu, HI is a wonderful location to visit. A great place to enjoy a family picnic, or every Friday evening, hundreds gather here to watch the weekly fireworks show, across the bay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. It is on the Southwest shores of Oahu; as such, the surf is usually small... More

One of the Best Place to Take a good look at Wailikik and Diamond with Fireworks on Fridays. Magic Island used to be a part of the bigger plan to develop a resort areas, but now it belongs to Honolulu resident's favorite place to spend freetime. Sand is not fine for beachbathing but the view of Diamond Head is wonderful... More

Magic Island is a nice park to walk too, it is good for a evening walk with someone special the park is over looking the ocean and you get to see some surfers doing what they know best and as well as see the planes taking off and landing with visitors all over the world. Love it, it is clean... More

This is a nice beach that's great for the family. You can have a picnic and swim in the protected area or go out and take on the surf.

Exercise here in the morning and/or evening. Lots of joggers, walkers, people doing calisthenics. etc. Come here in the evening. Do a BBQ. Watch the sunset. Just like the locals :)

It's kind of dirty and scattered with homeless people, there are much better places to be seen around the area

We really had a good time on the tours and would recommend trying all of them if you can afford it. But if not Magic Island was a nice site to see

Family oriented, fun beach park. The area offers two beaches with lifeguards well laid out for families with children. Often there are events happening in the area; parking in fairly good. No fees.
