Made a pit stop here and it was beautiful. You get a great view of diamond head and Waikiki. It was clean except for the random homeless person.

this place is not too far from waikiki but it has a lot less tourists if you just want to relax and have a picnic this would be the perfect place for that :)

What I liked about Honolulu is that they have several parks near the beach. I was here for a breal after a conference and really enjoyed relaxing in the park. There's a lagoon where you can swim in, lots of places to sit down and relax or to enjoy the scenery. You can see Diamond Head, the Waikiki and Honolulu... More

There's a nice path that kids can walk or ride their trikes on, as well as grassy areas for picnics. If you go in the evenings during outrigger canoe racing season, you can watch the teams practice racing. Check hcrapaddler.com to see the schedule. There's usually a nice breeze, so it's a very pleasant place to spend some time. There's... More

I have been taking my friend here for weekly walks since he is going through some health challenges. Great path and scenery. A nice piece of paradise for a light workout!

Beautiful sunset. You do see people having their wedding ceremonies around here and it sure is the perfect place for that. We had a BBQ and picnic here with around 10 people and it was a beautiful evening. Parking was hassle and some of us had to park a few blocks away, but absolutely worth it.

The real magic of this spot is often missed as most do not go to the real Magic Island spot, which is pass the rocks, to the left beyond the boats, you will find a very nice lagoon with almost no people. This section is aqua clear water & clean beach! I went on a Tuesday at 10 am, I... More

Magic Island is a very large seeming area of grass and is adjacent to the sandy Ala Moana Beach. There is a reasonable number of parking spaces at Magic Island, but all along the road by the beach, there are cars parked, so this indicates that parking is somewhat limited. The weather usually is great, and Magic Island is a... More

We got married at Magic Island and the pictures are amazing! It was very crowded on the weekends but we got married on a Thursday and it wasn't too bad. You will see homeless but they're perfectly harmless. The park is perfect for a variety of pictures - there is Diamondhead in the background, sailboats, trees, ocean, beachfront, you name... More

A popular spot for locals and tourists but we still managed to find a tranquil place to watch the sunset. Very accessible for a pushchair. You can park your car here or walk from the centre of Wikiki like we did which took us about half an hour.
