We ended up being recomended here from a local at the Ala Moana centre. We were looking for a large sports store and boy did we find it!! The Ward Centre is only a further 5 minute drive up from the Ala Moana centre (towards airport) . It is basically a load of separate buildings set on four blocks....i would... More

Absolutely recommend a visit to the Ward Centre if your on holiday in Waikiki. Famous Footwear and Sports Authority are both excellent stores with great prices especially if you are from New Zealand. Nordstrom is worth checking too though I didn't buy anything there this trip.

The Ward Centre is an alternative to the Ala Moana Shopping Center is that it is much smaller and therefore there are not as many people there as at AMSC during business opening hours. It is handily located just 15 minutes pleasant walk from the Ala Moana Shopping Center in the direction of the Honolulu Business District. Ryan's Grill located... More

Maybe better if you have a rental car to get out here. We found it a hard ask with the public bus system with some of the wait times at the bus stops. It was a very spread out mall so not suitable for young kids and the food offering was not as good as the Ala Moana. Head over... More

Unfortunately the market place had some sort of power outage and was closed, but overall it is worth about a 10 minute walk from Al Moana Centre. Passing the theatre on return to Al Moana, to catch the Pink Line Trolly, was BUCA Restaurant, pleasant surprise. Great Chicken Parma, service and great cold beer.

We tried all the shopping and outlets in the Waikiki area and we must say that we found the most choice and best prices here. We went to the ward centre last, which i think was a mistake, as we had purchased most of the things we wanted already. I would recommend going to the ward centre early on. It... More

I read the reviews about the Waikele outlet and visited those but the ward centre was far superior in my opinion. Plus if you are staying in Waikiki it is closer and so cheaper to get there. Some identical items I found were cheaper at the Ward Centre. Totally recommend this for great shopping.
