With the Koolau Mountains right in the city, Honolulu is blessed with numerous opportunities to put one's self in the middle of nature very close to the hustle of Waikiki and Downtown. This particular park is wheelchair accessible and worth a stop. If your timing is right you can have the place to yourself and imagine a Hawai'i of a... More

Great views of Oahu and its east coast. Often rainy and always windy up there. Good hiking trails spin off. Gets you out of Honolulu for the real Hawaiian experience.

This is a great place to view most of Honolulu. A different view than from Punchbowl as it is higher, but still easy to get here. I have also attended a wedding ceremony here and it was a spectacular backdrop for that.

Definitely worth the drive and the time for some of the best views of the city. There are a lot of pull-offs to take pictures on the ride to the lookout point.

Great view of the valley, and golf courses, below. Has two levels to view scenery. You can even take a trail through to woods if you want to explore more. Costs $5 to park though, and watch out for the wind and possible showers.

The journey up to the park is just as amazing with great views around every bend. So peaceful and quite. Been to Oahu 9 times now and this is one of our must dos when we come. Don't miss it!

Beautiful drive. The narrow 2 lane road going up the mountain is breathe taking you have vines hanging over the road. You the most beautiful views Pearl Harbor, Down Town Honolulu & Diamond Head

Just beautiful...the landscape is unreal. Make a point to visit when you go to Hawaii. You won't regret it.

Great views of the city. Nice place for a picnic away from the crowds the day you want to give your legs a rest. Bonus: temps are a bit cooler up there when compared to the beach. We were there on the 4th of July and there was......no one!

Took 76 yr old , fairly fit grandmother mother up Diamond Head. It was a struggle for her, but she glad we did it. Two days later drove to the Tantalus lookout. The view of Diamond Head and Waikiki is amazing. I would highly recommend this lookout to both young and old. Easy drive to the top. We had no... More
