Kids loved the fact that they got to see inside a real WW2 sub. It was interesting and well organised.

Never tired of taking our guests up the drive, thru the forrest, yes, so refreshing and lingering for just a tad more. On our list as we return next week.

If you're waiting on Waikiki beach to watch the sunset over the mountains it's pretty! But this location is spectacular! Get a beach blanket or towel and drive up to the lookout where you'll be able to see the most beautiful sunset over the mountains!

We have visited Oahu several times and this was the first time we had taken this drive. The views are spectacular and give you a completely different perspective of the island. We were so lucky to be able to do the drive on a clear day, it was breathtaking. I would love to do this at sunset, I can only... More

The view up on Tantalus is amazing. Especially at night because when you go up the mountain you can see the view of the city lights and the night stars. Bring up a hot drink and wearing a jacket is recommended because the wind blowing at night and in the afternoon is pretty cold. The only downside is sometimes people... More

Groves of bamboo, philodendrons, ferns, and other jungly plants line the 10-mile drive up to Puu Ualakaa State Park, where there is an amazing viewpoint with vistas from Diamond Head to the east and Pearl Harbor to the west. I only went here on my second trip to Oahu and was really impressed. Liked it so much I drove up there twice. One in the evening and one just before sunset.

I've actually taken a couple of trails from the park. The hikes are not difficult, and have some majestic views and some really beautiful vegetation. We also hiked Mount Olympus near there. Mt. Olympus is a much more challenging hike that involves steep climbs, ropes and some very slippery areas. Additionally, there are a few trails further up Round Top... More

Our group of current and former residents of Oahu enjoyed the beautiful sunset from Diamond Head across Waikiki, Honolulu and the airport to the Waianae range!
