Good thing we trust my son-in-law's driving! What a car ride up the winding switch-backs on the way up to the lookout! Yikes. But the park is lovely (with a bathroom -- yay!) and the lookout is serene-- over Honolulu, Waikiki, Diamond Head, and more more more. We saw a lovely sunset and lounged in the grassy lawn. Very pretty!

Nice drive up round top drive. It's very beautiful once you get up there. Great place for taking pictures. I would recommend this short excursion. You can bring your lunch and have a picnic. Lock your car and don't leave any valuables inside. It's a relaxing and beautiful place to spend some time.

Great way to get an overview of the Honolulu Metro Area. Easily accessible from the streets of Honolulu. If you can see top from below, the view will be good. Took a little longer to get there on a Friday afternoon, but it was well worth it. Recommended for everyone who does not want to spend the money for a... More

This one is off the beaten path, but worth finding. Take the drive up Round Top Drive and stop at this look out on your way down. The drive itself is beautiful, but then this....WOW! We caught a really great rainbow that day too!!

One of the best views of Honolulu you can get without going up in a plane. Even Hawaii 5-0 has filmed here. You can see the entire south shore. Take a drive up but be careful around the curves.

Tantalus drive is a curvy adventure with splendid and abundant greenery in sight and smell. There are hiking trails apropos of beginners. Bring a picnic basket for a panoramic sunset. Then, patiently pause for the city and the stars to brighten your evening and your heart. Oulala!

I've been up here twice, once during the daylight and once at night. Both experiences offer a beautiful view and a unique experience. The city looks so interesting and beautiful from up here, and on the opposite side it looks like you'll be easily swallowed up by lush, green foliage. We found a hike somewhere near here, and it was... More

Nice drive up to see the skyline. I wanted to go back at night but didn't get the chance. Would have been a nice nighttime cityscape picture.

What an amazing view! For a different perspective, if you have a car, please take the time to go for this drive as it is just lovely and the view look out point is amazing. A must see if you are staying in the Honolulu area. I really loved it.
