I'm a Canadian. A progressive-politically-minded Canadian. When I told my friend (a local) that I was craving some stand up comedy on my trip, she did not fully explain what the Hale Koa (hotel exclusively for military personnel and their families) hotel was all about. We walked over from the Sheraton, purchased tickets, and kept ourselves occupied until show time.... More

Bo was hilarious, pulled the audience into all of his stories, the two warm up acts were also great fun. My husband and I laughed all of the way back to our room! Warning, the content is PG13 to be sure!

The warm-ups...not so much. We were really wondering what we'd gotten ourselves into until the headliner (Bo Irvine) came out. After that, we laughed our butts off. Good show, and would love to see more like Bo.

What a wonderful show, truly funny. We attended the other events at The Hale Koa and this was by far the best. Great audience involvement.

If you are at the Hale Koa, don't miss the comedy show. The place was packed and the jokes were all so funny. A lot of the humor is directed at military, but you have to remember it is in a military hotel. We had a great time, and haven't laughed so much in a long time. Highly recommend the... More

While staying at the Hale Koa, we went to all of the entertainment venues they offered. The luau was disappointing, the magic show was just so-so, but the comedy show was great. The night we went there were three opening acts, that were good. I particularly liked how they were all a little bit different from the previous comedian. The... More

Read reviews and thought we'd check it out.. We rang the ticket hotline and we were told tickets on sale from 6:30pm and show starts at 8pm. No mention of anything else... We revolved our dinner place and time around this show only to be told upon arrival its for military personel only. Im not sure if we were supposed... More

Went to High & Right while celebrating my son's college graduation. He is an aficionado of Comedy Central and had high expectations. Bo came through! We all laughed and enjoyed the humor which was true to life. We'll do it again.

Bo Irvine is so funny my husband had tears running down his cheeks for most of the show! We didn't know what to expect, and we were most pleased with Bo's show. His interaction with the audience was terrific; he welcomed all comers! His Texas travails were absolutely hilarious. It's a wonder he escaped with his life. Hahaha! Still laughing... More

We have seen this comedy show a few times and Bo is so funny, he just grabs the audience and interacts with everyone. My husband and I are from Canada and some of the jokes he makes of Canada is hilarious. All in good fun. We also loved the other two performers. This is a great way to spend an... More
