This was a nice place to have a picnic or rest. This was a nice place to visit while in Honolulu. Make sure you get there early before all the tourist. This was definitely a place that I loved visiting while in Honolulu.

We spent several days relaxing in this beautiful oceanfront part which is chiefly used by locals. There's a small beach on a cove perfect for young families and plenty of shade. One highlight: every Saturday night beginning at 5:00, boats from the marina line up and head out to sea to begin happy hour. Quite a sight.

It was ok. Not that impressive to us...near the Ala Moana shopping mall. There isn't anything there that would make me go out of my way to go there. Average at best

The Ala Moana Beach Park was a nice little relaxing beach where one could sit and read and not be bothered too much. My whole purpose for going to Hawaii was to relax and catch up on my reading without having to worry about anyone else's needs. Mission accomplished!

Don't forget your sunscreen, pack a lunch and stay for a while. Great place to hang out especially during sunset hours. Here, you'll never know who you will run into. Some days, maybe those guys from "Hawaii Five 0" or someone else famous. People watch, this is the place to be.

This beach was clean, but the bathrooms, while plentiful, were not well-kept. We enjoyed the variety of flora and fauna at the Beach Park. The water was beautiful. An easy walk from our apartment.

It is such a shame a once lovely and safe park has been taken over by the homeless people with their belongings perched on tree limbs! This park is more like an open air homeless shelter. The homeless live in the park and sleep on the grass with their belongings spread all over their "camp". They are present night and... More

This is an expansive beach for people watchers and bird watches alike. However, there are plenty of people that frequent the beach - younger people seem to like to walk from Ala Moana shopping center over to the beach, and tourists find that it's super convenient, so get there early to claim a picnic table and one of the free...
