Compared to Waikiki, this is a much quiet beach. The water is very clear and clam; perfect for lap swimming. Nice beach, much better than Waikiki. Semi-enclosed lagoon at Magic Island is also a very safe place for the weak swimmer and children, even during the height of high summer crashing waves.
