This beach was clean, but the bathrooms, while plentiful, were not well-kept. We enjoyed the variety of flora and fauna at the Beach Park. The water was beautiful. An easy walk from our apartment.

Very beautiful, nice way to spend a few hours relaxing in paradise. The shopping center nearby is also a neat visit,

It is such a shame a once lovely and safe park has been taken over by the homeless people with their belongings perched on tree limbs! This park is more like an open air homeless shelter. The homeless live in the park and sleep on the grass with their belongings spread all over their "camp". They are present night and... More

This is an expansive beach for people watchers and bird watches alike. However, there are plenty of people that frequent the beach - younger people seem to like to walk from Ala Moana shopping center over to the beach, and tourists find that it's super convenient, so get there early to claim a picnic table and one of the free... This park looked so good from the window of my hotel that I went there for a brief walk and was glad I did. It is a park leading to a beach and in between you can see so many kinds of birds, which is a nice surprise in any city. This is a less touristy place and maybe that's... More

Ala Moana Beach is really nice and a great beach for kids as some parts of it have wave barriers so the water completely still almost like a wading pool. If you come outside those barriers, it's like a regular beach and the water is beautiful! Parking for this beach is free and they do have some picnic tables, but... More

There is a reason why this beach and Waikiki have so much built up around it. It is a beautiful, perfect beach that you imagine Hawaii to be, but that also means there a lot of people who go to this beach. Went there first during the weekend...big mistake. I saw the amount of people there and didn't even get... More

Parking is free! Love it! The beach is nice and clean, with shower stations and the water is pretty calm. This is a lovely beach to come out and watch the sunset.

This was my favorite beach while on vacation! So beautiful and serene. There were many wedded couples taking pictures on this beach. There were also many locals.
