4 of us charted the Magic on 2-27-14. Captain Russell is top notch!! Gary and Nick worked the deck for us and did a great job. We brought 3 fish back to the dock...2 striped marlin weighing 50 and 60 and a 465lb blue. We had other fish hooked and saw a few we couldnt get to bite as well.... More

4 of us chartered the Magic on 12/28/2013. It was all that we had hoped it would be. The Magic was the first boat that left the dock (0515) and the last one that pulled back in (1730). We caught a 143 pound yellow fin tuna and one short billed spear fish. Gary and the skipper worked all day changing... More

Magic where fullbooked when I called them, but they managed to get me a spot of their partners boat "Ruckus". I headed for a halfday morning fishing with four other tourist (very nice guys in the same age) and we caught a 25 pounds Spearfish. I drilled it and he was a great fighter. Amazing! We had the pleasure of chartering the boat for our family of four (with two children aged 10 and 13) for a whole day's fishing. A bright and early 5am start - the crew were earlier than us and waiting. The payment process was swift and easy and took off ahead of schedule. Stopped for Gary and Russell to catch... More

Often times when the need to go fishing hits you in an area where you've never been and you've done no research beforehand you leave yourself at the mercy of having to guess amongst a whole fleet of boats where to best spend your money. I have been on numerous charters that were planned months in advance with as much... More

I went out on the Magic on the 31st July with my brother in law on a shared charter with one other. Arrived at 5.45am and departed at 6am. After a 2 hour scenic voyage to the west coast as the sun rose, Captain Russell found the best spot for deckhand Gary to catch a heap of mackerel for live... More

We booked an all day trip out fishing. Boat was very nice. Crew was very pleasant as well. Their boat slip was on the front side of the marina (main street side). We walked around quite a while in the dark before we found it. Unfortunately most of us felt somewhere between not too good and downright near death from... More
