My husband and I picked this dive for our honeymoon because it was a introductory course that started right on the beach, so as to ease my husband (a first time diver) into the experience. Our dive instructor Nate was great. He was incredibly attentive and focused on all participants equally. By the time we left the shallow water, my... More

I went scuba diving with Living Ocean scuba in early June and had an incredible time! It was my first time scuba diving so I took the beginners session. I am also quite sea sick so was nervous about the whole thing, but we started from shore which meant the sea sickness wasn't an issue at all. The scuba instructor,... More

We signed up a party of four for the day dive at Hanauma Bay. My wife was very hesitant since she "hates" the ocean and fish, but she is a good sport about trying new experiences. (Almost 60, time is running out). With the agreement that we would stop and turn around anytime she was not comfortable, off we went.... More

While on vacation in Oahu, my husband and I, both divers, decided to include some diving in our vacation. I found Living Ocean Scuba on Trip Advisor, and the reviews convinced me to book with them. The great reviews were spot on!!! I actually called before booking to ask a few questions, and spoke with Dave. He was great about... More

My wife and I are AOW (Advanced Open Water) Divers who were looking for another great international Diving experience. My Brother-in-Law was a Discovery Diver who had never tried SCUBA before and was a bit nervous. We had a great time with Nate, our Diver Master, doing all he could to find us life in the Waikiki Reefs. We AOW... More

I've done a good amount of diving around multiple parts of the country but never in Hawaii. I was pretty excited to have the opportunity to see some of the endemic species. I was picked up from my hotel, on time not island time mind you, and taken to the marina by Austin. The day could not have started better... More

Have not dived in 10 years and Nate did a great refresher. Photos from the dives were great and a good price. . They called me three times to keep in touch: the day before, to make sure I found my way (I drove myself), and later in the day to make sure things went well. Boat crew good and... More

OMG! I just got finished diving today (16 April) and it was absolutely one of the most amazing experiences ever! Living Ocean Scuba is so good at what they do. I went today with my boyfriend, my best friend, and her boyfriend. Working in this small group made it so enjoyable and comfortable especially considering the fact that I can't... More

This was my first dive in about 5 years and I fell in love with scuba all over again! Austin was an awesome guide and pointed out so many things I might have missed on my own. He also has a camera and takes photos on the dive so don't worry if you don't have your own underwater camera. We... More
